And this here is a major problem at WDW...and with many large companies. The rich get richer, the poor get poorer...and the theme park lovers get nothing new. :ROFLOL:
Also, the sky is up and water is wet.

You never know. Maybe if there'd been a General Motors forum 20 years ago it could have avoided bankruptcy. :wave:and WDW fans on forums keep giving out suggestions as to how they could run a billion dollar company better
First-time poster here. I have heard the stories about how you folks treat newbies. Your reputation precedes you. I'm looking forward to the welcome brigade. This was almost ignored. I hope you're right.

From what I have heard, the Yeti will return to his (her?) rightful perch on April 1. I'm happy to report that animation will be restored, though not to the extent as originally intended. The refurbished Yeti will move and swipe at guests, but the overall range of motion will be limited to mitigate stress on the foundation. That's all I have been told to this point, and I am not sure what management's future plans are with everybody's favorite mythological beast. I suspect, like many of you apparently suspect, it will take a lengthy attraction closure to fix the Yeti the way all the devoted fans want him fixed. I doubt that will happen until the company builds a new major attraction for the Animal Kingdom. But for now, I think this will satisfy most guests.
At the very least, it'll be better than Disco Yeti. I promise you that.
Well the welcome brigade only comes out when people mention definite plans and or dates that have not been released to the public and or trusted insiders.
It may just be that we do not want our hearts to be lifted for nothing; like when Alison Ashmore dumped us for Kevin Bannister after we dated for 3 days, then she married him.
Plus when you give us a re-open date of April 1st. Yeah. I don't believe it.
All I ask is you give me a chance! That nice fellow named "Rum Pirate" was right a few months ago. Perhaps I will be, too.
I am going to AK Saturday morning. Do you have an excuse ready? :ROFLOL:
Seriously though...my only irritation is when new people speak as if they sat in on an imagineer meeting. Or the famous "I came across these plans.."
Otherwise, welcome!!
I love the I cam across the plans for the next 25 years for wdw, it was just spread out in this one imagineers office that was unlocked.
Bwahaha! Yes, yes. And the most incredible thing was that there was not one plan there that hasn't been rumored for over a decade or so. It was amazing... :ROFLOL:
Crazy. But somehow these plans miss simple things like flamingo not being built, or golden oaks.
Nice High Fidelity mentionWell the welcome brigade only comes out when people mention definite plans and or dates that have not been released to the public and or trusted insiders.

Oh ya, always. And I don't know about you, but my cell phone has a camera. But I suppose that taking a picture of confidential company plans is clearly worse than breaking and entering or trespassing...
Nice High Fidelity mention
Not to get offtrack here, but I remember reading some posts many pages back about the authenticity of EE's queue and setting and, boy, is it authentic. Of course, I didn't realize this until just yesterday when I was watching a documentary about the mountaineer who found the body of George Mallory on Everest 75 years after his death. When they showed video of a monastery and small village at the base of Everest, I really, for a short second, thought I was looking at the Asia section of AK.
