WWYC? Tomorrowland Stitch Dance Party...in a parking lot?

It's called the Pluto parking lot and it is across the street from Space Mountain. The MO-7 parking lot is used for area managers and all the high up managers of the park ie Phil Holmes. It is also the location of the Outdoor Foods garage and MSN and ODF freezers and coolers.

Yea I know what's back there but didn't see a reason to tell the general public it all. I worked in MO5 for my program so I'm very familiar with this area. I was just saying that I don't see a reason for more parking.

The blogmeister does go on to say that the parking lot is supposed to be temporary. That is, if the plans for the mega E-ticket that will swallow the current GPT plot, COP and the former Skyway Station don't fall through. :lookaroun
The COP isn`t moving, and the Skyway plot isn`t for an E Ticket.

The "hate" for Stitch comes from the fact it is not seen by many as a Disney created character. I believe the creator of Stitch now works for another studio (hopefully forever) as Disney has many creative types who are better and understand the Disney consumer.

Hey, Chris Sanders is awesome. The problem with Stitch isn't the character himself, but how marketing's been abusing the more obnoxious part as opposed to the good parts of his character. As for why Sanders is gone, it's mostly because Lasseter thought the original plans for Bolt were a bit too odd, when (in my opinion anyways) the designs looked a lot more unique and interesting then what we're getting now.
I think Chris's new spot at Dreamworks might help up the quality of the movies they put out...

The COP will not be moved for a new E-Ride nor do I ever see it being moved. If you removed the one attraction That Walt asked never to be removed you might as well remove the name of Disney from everything in WDW. The idea that they would move COP to Epcot is even more unlikely, it would cost way to much that they might as well scrap the ride and start from scratch at Epcot. They would get rid of Buzz and expand in that direction before moving COP.

Even if I were to agree about the comment in the NP sig there is no place for it on this board you should take it down.

Back to the topic at hand: even if this is true, I will be really irritated if it occurs before January. I really enjoy Mickey's Night Before Christmas, and would be sad to see it go. If it does get razed after the holidays, hopefully a suitable replacement will be built in the MK. You can't really move MVMCP events to DHS.

i'm not attacking anyone. you're the one whining about this site not allowing you to use your freedom of speech. you're completely free to talk about politics on a political board. you wouldn't talk disney on a political board would you? no because nobody there would care or probably understand what you're talking about.

That's exactly right.

Politics have no place here.

And as far as freedom of speech goes, this is a UK based forum. There's no reason to quote American constitutional rights.

Joeyjoe, thank you for the clarification.

He may be a great talent but I'm not sure he was right for Disney. Seems like another great decision by Lasseter. Lasseter has become the best asset WDC has. By the way, does anyone work at Dreamworks anymore?

Yes, Lasseter is saving Disney Animation. When Disney bought Pixar they were really just after him.

I'm reserving my judgement until I see Bolt. I do like what Pixar's golden boy has done so far, especially with recapturing the feeling that WDI can, and will, do anything and everything to blow people's minds. However, he does seem to push his Pixar franchises onto the parks a bit too much. I'm not anti-Pixar like some here, but I hope that character integration in the future is done more eloquently. That is, a better understanding of when an attraction needs plused by a franchise, and which franchises are suitable for an entire attraction.

As far as Disney Animation goes, like I said, I'll wait until I see Bolt, and until they release a couple good movies.

And if John Lasseter reads these boards (yeah I know he doesn't, I'm just saying).......

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, MAKE A HAND-DRAWN ANIMATION FILM.

When that happens, I'll finally feel that Disney Animation has been re-captured in it's fully glory.
