You really should look into it! :) It's a great program - I'm hoping it will allow her to communicate with us before she can speak - I hear signing really helps avoid alot of frustration with little people!

As for Lizzy's Birthday and size - she was born August 29, 2005 - she weighed 7 lbs and 11 oz at birth and is right at 20 lbs now... the crazy part is that she's almost 34 inches tall. (She's so far off the chart's with her length it's just nuts!)

My best friend had her son 7 weeks early... he was considered a preemie - (though not nearly as tiny as your little gal) but now he's bigger than Lizzy - Maggie will catch up really soon... 11 lbs is really great for all Maggie's been through! btw... i don't know if i've told you this or not - but she has to be one of the prettiest babies I've ever seen - those eyes kill me every time I look at your avatar! Such a beauty!

Thanks Lizzy is beautiful herself... Those lil cheeks:animwink: Lizzy was born the day Hurr. katrina hit us.... Thats so crazy...Maggie is doing good though, considering she was under a pound and she is 23 in so we are on our way....

Life is on autopilot right now...

tell me about it...

my life was going just swimmingly for me... I had everything prepared and ready for today's final, I knew it, and I was going to be waking up at 8:00 a.m. to study for like 6 more hours... I booked my Disney vacation last night! I'm planning my weekend in Philly to see two maybe three Sox games... my phone's broken so I'm all excited cuz I'm gonna get a new phone as soon as I finish finals cuz I'll be making plenty of money... just swimmingly...

9:45 a.m... an email from my old boss's boss... that my old boss left... and the new guy doesn't have time for a summer intern... a summer intern who's been there for four summers and knows probably more than he knows...

No Job... No money... I'm already in huge debt going into this summer with some credit card bills, school payments, and car payments to make...

at this point, the only job I'm gonna find is gonna be making 6.75 an hour...

bye bye philly and the sox, bye bye new phone... bye bye Disney...

BYE BYE SUMMER...

I'm sorry I'm whinning so bad... but this is probably the maddest/most frustrated/and just most fed up I've ever been... I just can't believe how that all blew up in my face....

Don't give up on the internship so soon. Ask for an interview and plead your case (your prior expereince). Be polite and confident, and they just might realize that they do in fact need you!

Don't give up. Polish that resume; ask your former place of employment for not only a reference, but job leads within that same field with another company. Be persistent, and don't settle for a job that pays less than you're worth until you've followed up every single other lead! We're right here, cheering you on (and many of us have been in your shoes, and know exactly how it feels).
