I rather enjoy the words "chav" and "yob".

(I've picked up on quite the vocabulary thanks to this site  )

Joe has the best words!
Hard to believe he's speaking English sometime!

I'm sick. Didn't go to school today.

I'm sure no one wants to hear about what happened last night :lookaroun

Oh Luke, I'm sorry to hear that!
Is this related to the sore throat of a couple nights ago?

You're right.
No one wants to hear what happened last night, I'm sure. :lookaroun
But as an Imom, I'll listen to whatever you want to tell me.

Sure we do! ...and are those fires we're hearing about near you?

No you don't :lookaroun

And yeah, they're just north of me. The fires in Brevard County are actually burning at the exit off of I-95 that I take to get to Disney World. When I went to Universal on Thursday night, we were driving home and we actually saw some fire burning on the side of the road. It was pretty crazy. On Friday when I went to WDW, it was pretty smokey.

Warning:
If an inordinate amount of "j's" suddenly appear in my posts, please ignore.
My laptop had to go in for repair, and my old one has a broken "j" button.
"J's" just appear at random.
Lots of them.

I don't know if it's related or if it was something totally different.

It hasn't been a good weekend health-wise. But I'm getting better. I'm just a little light-headed right now. Nothing else.

Everytime J.K. Rowling uses it in Potter I cheer!

And what would this other word be????
Assuming the auto-censor passes it -

The word is "Bollocks"

A slang term for a private area of the male anatomy that is spherical and barring accident, plural with an inventory of two.

It can be used as a straight out expletive - shouted for example when hitting one's thumb with a hammer. It also far more phonetically satisfying that those crude short four letter words.

It can also be used to express disbelief in a statement presented to you by someone when you feel they are not being truthful. Hence the term to be talking bollocks.

It can be used to express a low opinion of something, for example "McDonalds food is a load of bollocks"

Curiously, when combined with the word "dog's" it is then complimentary - as in Disney World is the dog's bollocks.

And as a slight variation, if someone is administering a severe telling off / reprimand, they are giving a bollocking. The recipient will have been bollocked.

Did I really make a post about bollocks on a Disney World Site?

I use "bollocks" in everyday conversation. A lot of my friends do, just 'cause it's a great word. (That, and a teacher can't really lambast you for its usage. :D)

I've seen in American print "bollox", but it never seemed to have the same meaning.
