Oh my goodness! You're right! We have a new thread coming right around the corner! Wow!!!

PS - good luck with your SSFPB ;) I just helped my little brother with one a couple weeks ago - and here i thought it'd be a few years before I had to do that again... ;)

That's a good size - not too big, but big enough. Have you hired the armed guards to keep Connor and Michael out yet?
That won't be necessary. I actually like her fiance. He has excellent taste in music and women. We'd probably get along very well. I wish them all the best!

hey guys! :) Hope everyone's having a good day - sorry about the final Dukeblue! Hope it goes well despite the disappointing day.. :)

Lizzy's signing class went really well this morning - I'm taking it with one of my really good girlfriends and her son... oh and about 10 other mom's and their kids... :D We worked on how to sign Shoes, Hat, Coat, More, Cat, Dog, Socks, and Comb today. Lizzy did shoes right away which was funny as she's one of the youngest in the class - I know she doesn't associate the motion with shoes yet - but everytime I'd point to her shoes and then sign it - she'd point too and then sign it... it was more of a copycat thing - but it was really cute all the same. The way Gymboree teaches the class is awsome - you learn in a group setting for a bit - then you move around the gym area and find the objects you just learned and study them one on one with baby for a few minutes - then you go back to the group and sing about what you just learned while signing again - and then we interacted with all the other kids... Lizzy's a little slow on the crawling end - but she's already trying to walk (which for the record i'm strongly discouraging - I'd love her to develop her hand-eye coordination a little more before she learns to walk) however she's way to nosey to crawl... she loves standing up and looking around... *sigh* oh well... we'll just keep working with her - in the mean time she loved the class and made some new friends... this is the first time she's been around this many kids before - I usually keep her with me at Church b/c she naps through the sermon - and b/c I don't work she's never in a daycare setting - her main interaction with other kids are my 2 girlfriends and their babies... so a group of 10 kids was quite entertaining for her today! :)

Anyway - hope y'all enjoyed my commentary of our morning... :D
That is really great Jess... Seems like you both enjoyed it.. We are going to look into something like that with Maggie....I know you said Lizzy is 8 months old but when is her birthday? I am just curious because Maggie is 8 months and I like to compare her to babys her age just to see the difference... She is Aug 25,2005 and She is 11 lbs now... Just Wondering Thanks:)

Aw...Michael, that's very sweet of you! :D

(What's funny is that I told him you were taking me to the WDWMagic Prom and he kinda got a little jealous! I had to reassure him that you weren't wooing me away from him! :) )

Jess-that's great about the sign language thing. My best friend is currently learning how to use sign language. What's funny is that whenever she gets drunk she starts signing to us...as if we know what the heck she's talking about!

Howdy all. I'm ready for bed. It's nice to know that you were missed when you go away on vacation, but I wonder if these people are capable of making any decision without me. They decided that instead of giving a few last-second, red-hot projects to one of the other writers, they'd just wait for me to get back and dump them on me first thing in the morning :hammer:

MJ was made an honorary WDW Railroad Engineer, she was given a HUGE poster that everyone on trains signed, a license and certificate (pics in a sec, downloading) then we went over and she got to help open Toon Town, then she got given a special pin from a greeter... it was just all around fabulous....

You really should look into it! :) It's a great program - I'm hoping it will allow her to communicate with us before she can speak - I hear signing really helps avoid alot of frustration with little people!

As for Lizzy's Birthday and size - she was born August 29, 2005 - she weighed 7 lbs and 11 oz at birth and is right at 20 lbs now... the crazy part is that she's almost 34 inches tall. (She's so far off the chart's with her length it's just nuts!)

My best friend had her son 7 weeks early... he was considered a preemie - (though not nearly as tiny as your little gal) but now he's bigger than Lizzy - Maggie will catch up really soon... 11 lbs is really great for all Maggie's been through! btw... i don't know if i've told you this or not - but she has to be one of the prettiest babies I've ever seen - those eyes kill me every time I look at your avatar! Such a beauty!
