Nope...Outrunning Hank? (I think that was the harvester's name?)

Oops. At least they sound the same, lol.
They had a cheap option. It was cut.A cheap option for Autopia would have been to theme it to Cars. They won't build a Radiator Racers in WDW for obvious reasons, but, tarting up the current vehicles and theming the whole area to Ornament Valley and Radiator Springs would work.
I actually really liked Tomorrowland before the new paint jobs. Very colorful and pretty at night. From beginning to end and all the dead ends in between. There is almost nothing visually appealing about MK's Tomorrowland. Recently, they worked hard to make it less tacky. But, less tacky isn't 'great.'
But what do I know, I'm just a shill.
I agree, it had a lot of eye candy...Actually that whole remake of Tomorrowland was pretty good except for the loss of the Gull-wing waterfalls....Lots of edgy machine-age design and color...I actually really liked Tomorrowland before the new paint jobs. Very colorful and pretty at night.
That has some fun possibilities. A little more speedy than a typical dark water ride, but still able to appeal to all guests with limited to no height restrictions.Outrunning Hank? (I think that was the harvester's name?)
I remember seeing concept art of the refreshed Tomorrowland (ya know, when it had a cohesive refresh design) and in the distance it was very much a TRON-inspired refresh, no?They had a cheap option. It was cut.
It was also a better theme than Cars.
Yep. Tron Light Racers.I remember seeing concept art of the refreshed Tomorrowland (ya know, when it had a cohesive refresh design) and in the distance it was very much a TRON-inspired refresh, no?
Imagine if you finished building Main Street then decided to place the castle out of view somewhere off to the left leaving the carousel as your weenie. That's Tomorrowland. From beginning to end and all the dead ends in between. There is almost nothing visually appealing about MK's Tomorrowland. Recently, they worked hard to make it less tacky. I like that! This, would not surprise me to see test track become a cars dark ride one day.
I've been saying that for a while. Make it an indoor playground with cool interactive stuff. Theme it retro-futuristic. Give parents and elevated lounge plexi-glassed off from the shrieking below.Would it have been so bad to put PLAY! here? I mean it's practically arcadeland now anyway thanks be to TRON. Ugh.
That would be very cool!I'd love it if Tomorrowland became more like Fantasyland with an abundance of attractions. Picture dark rides for Wall-E, Big Hero 6 and Stitch.
Tomorrowland doesn't refer to a time and place -- it's when they'll finish Tron. Not that it matters anymore in Disney World, but Wreck it Ralph, Cars and Monsters Inc don't belong in Tomorrowland. They all take place in modern times.
It's only a day awayTomorrowland doesn't refer to a time and place -- it's when they'll finish Tron.
Tomorrow.
It's when they'll upgrade Space Mountain and The Carousel of Progress.
Tomorrow.
It's when they'll remember the Disney legacy for customer service and family affordability.
Tomorrow.
