Indiana Jones I find so dated, the last movie does not count.

Does it really have anything to do with Disney?

Indiana Jones is, and will always be, one of the iconic movie characters/franchises. Everyone knows Indy. I have kids yelling how it's sjust like Indiana Jones when the Jungle Cruise boat goes into the temple. Believe me, Indy is not dated.

Interestingly enough Raging Spirits should go there.
Was considered at one time.
Never made it out of the gate.
Actually, I am in favor of a Raging Spirits in Adventureland. Adds capacity, atmosphere, and a decent ride (if properly maintained).

Agreed. The only problem I have with Ragin Spirits is that it would fit better in Beatly Kingdomme (sigh) than Adventureland.

Don't think we really need a ride with the exact same layout and track design as Dinosaur!

Get original!

No one notices the if the track layout is the same or not. I tried to picture Indy when I last road Dinosaur and I completely lost track, its almost impossible because the enviroments are so different.

Anyways, bring Indy to DHS now!

I know some people want somthing different, but they can clone the ride but make it different in some ways. Sort of like the TDS version, it has a Mayan theme rather than Indian, theme is centered around the Crystal Skull, has a different queue and preshow, and has a few new encounters like a tornado and a fire ring effect. Maybe somthing similar could be done for the WDW version.

Yes, in that Indy actually has an environment! :) Sorry.

It is one of the best rides ever built at a Disney theme park, not to mention an amazing queue.. and you're asking if it has to do with Disney!

Studio Lucasfilm Ltd. Distributed by Paramount Pictures

I do not see the word "Disney" or even a company owned by Disney, there for it has nothing to do with Disney.

I liked th efirst movie and only the first movie and that movie was made over 25 years ago. So it is dated.

I stand by my comments, if I can be entertained it really does not matter much to me but I seen Raiders gags so often in the last 25 years I really can not see it being all the exciting to me. I rode the Indiana Jones Attraction in Disneyland and Disneyland Paris but found that I can not remember them they made no impression on me at all.

As far a DHS, they really next to get rid of Indiana Jones too, The stunt show. Same gags they had when the park opened. The great movies ride, snakes I hate snakes and the temple where the bad guy dies.... so boring.

So what is everybody proposing more of the same Indiana gags rehached again. Please.......

I am sure if they could still find one creative person left in Disney they can come up with something anything new and that has not been done before.

The challenge what is the last blockbuster, Disney or Touchstone has come up with. Other than some animation classics not much.

Why not
National Treasure

at least it is Disney property. It was a success and it is very American.

You are talking about Walt Disney World Florida why not highlight it American angle.

^ No National Treasure. Indiana Jones is a FAR more recognizable character than Ben Gates and would attract a bigger crowd. Also, I honestly don't want one of Nick Cage's wigs rnning around the park.

National Treasure is nothing but a knock-off, wanna-be Indiana Jones. Indy will stand the test of time, as I've already said, as one of the most iconic movies of all time. Just because you don't think it belongs at Disney, or enjoy the films, doesn't mean it isn't one of the most popular franchises of all time.

While you are at it, wanna get rid of Star Wars too? Becasue it's not Disney. And Harry Potter isn't Universal, it's Warner. Disney paid a pretty penny to get the Lucasfim rights. So, that makes them Disney. They are not going anywhere. Sorry?
