working out for Disney

OK- I am in with that Sweaty Betty/Simone de la Rue workout I posted the other day. I liked it so much, I signed up for her streaming site. I am not impressed with what I see, but I will play around without tomorrow and see what happens. It's a bunch of short work outs that you can customize yourself, but some of the workouts are like 4 minutes long. I guess you have to repeat them. I only signed up for a month, so I'll see if it grows on me. It's a shame, because I liked her You Tube video and I was hoping for a similar format for streaming.

Have a good evening. :)

Well this one only cost me like 4 bucks. It was on sale at the drug store a few weeks ago. I'll look to see if they have more, but what I'd really like is a fitbit...much more expensive, though!

I have a Fitbit One and I have had it for over 2 years. The only reason I replaced my last Fitbit was the case broke, but the pedometer portion was still functional. They don't even make that model anymore. The outlay is a bit much, but mine is still going strong. My husband got the Flex (the bracelet) and lost it in London Euston train station on a Saturday afternoon. That's why I like the One, you can clip it on your waistband, a belt, on your bra and that sucker does not move.

I have been thinking about getting a Fitbit for my wife. She kinda hinted she might like one for the half-marathon in February. But, it is kinda confusing which one to get.

I think the only way to know for sure is to ask her. I went looking and there seems to be so many options now. I was thinking about getting one(I think it's called the charge HR) but right now I need a new sewing machine, so there goes that money.

Checking in with one of my streaming workouts. It was something like, "Hips, Thighs, and Butt." It wasn't a calorie scorcher, but I will do it again on Friday, adding on some more cardio, since this one was 37 minutes. It's unseasonably warm here, so I'll probably go for a quick run after dinner.

Oh, and before the workout she says, "Women shouldn't like more than 3 lbs., because more than that will bulk you up." OK, then. That's how it is. Don't even get me started. :cautious:

I forgot to mention I am not drinking this month, but I am reserving the right to have a glass of wine on Thanksgiving. So, day 3 without booze here. :p
Congrats. I generally don't drink much but will join you on Thanksgiving with a glass of wine. The one I got is local organic and:hungry:. I'm cheap and would rather use my goodies calories elsewhere

Good morning 5 miles from LS's Ultimate 5 day walk and heading out again today while the weather is still wonderful. The morning walkers aren't too bad speed wise but the later group :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:. I'm trying not to complain about the later group as we have a new person who is rather ok very large and she's new to walking. She made it the whole 2 1/2 miles yesterday without stopping or complaining. I hope she's ok today. My older ds came home with a cold yesterday so I'm upping my C adding a zinc and having a cup of echinasea sp? tea. I was going to do some lower body weights today but didn't want to stress my system with germs going around and not getting the best night's sleep last night. Have a great day and think healthy thoughts
