I got in just under 8 km today (4.7 miles) at the craft fair. What is a "rebounder"?
Well that thing looks dangerous. Please be careful. Personally, I am way too old and heavy to get bouncy! It's a mini trampoline.

I had one long ago, and I loved it. It went in a garage sale, when my back went!OMG! That looks like FUN!!! Want!
Mine didn't have a stabilizing bar. It would be so helpful.Just looked this up on Amazon. (link below) If you click on the 5th image down on the left-hand side, you'll see that it also comes with a stabilizing bar, so that's good. Also the male model isn't exactly 18 years old either, he's middle aged. So they are marketing this to various age groups, which is positive.

Good for you!! It's important to have a day off now and then.Today I'm taking my own advice and taking the day off, I even got an extra hour's sleep LOL Have a great Sunday!
Which is probably a legitimate worry.Me too, it's on my Christmas list but my dh is afraid one of the boys would either get hurt on it or use it for projectiles
Thank you! I might not have found it otherwise. It may take me a few days to get up to speed. I seem to be 177 pages late@figmentfan423, were we supposed to tag @Sabrina D here?
Great for you, finding out what works best for your body! It took me forever to find what works for me. Good luck and I hope your better in time for your trip.Good Morning. Okay.....I've done quite a lot of reading here and I must say that I'm impressed. I did not expect to find a group of people dedicated to healthy lifestyle here on the Disney board. I'm pretty excited about it! For years I was very involved on a forum about "clean" eating. I learned a lot while there, tried some things that ended up not being sustainable in the long run, but also developed a lot of good habits that have become my own cornerstones of good living. That forum has become largely inactive now. The program that it was build around having lost steam, as so many programs do. I see that some of you are vegetarian and that others of you are trying to incorporate more veggie only meals into your lives. I'll be honest and just let you know that I am a former vegetarian. I was meatless for ten years and a vegan for two years. Unfortunately it did not work out for me and I had to accept that my body does best with some animal based protein in my daily mix. I have complete respect for those who choose to be vegetarian but I have learned that we each have different needs when it comes to nutrition and that the most important thing we can do is listen to our own bodies and take the path that is right for us as individuals.
Currently my diet revolves around meals consisting primarily of low starch vegetables and protein. I limit grains, especially wheat. I avoid soy, corn, and added sugars. I try to stick with whole, unprocessed foods.
A recent foot injury is slowing me down. I'm on a break from cardio for that reason- no elliptical, no treadmill, no stair machine. I'm still doing weight bearing exercise 3 days a week. I walk a lot but I'm restricted to "sensible' shoe choices We have a Disney vacation in 31 days and I hope to be back to normal by then.
