X2So not really bad news, but could be better. I'm sorry...I hope it's not too bad and it's just a matter of watching it.

After a planned 2-day break, I was back at it yesterday. I pushed it off until the evening since I had to grocery shop and help K make dinner. I'm not sure if it was my frustrations with the medical stuff and some school issues, but towards the end, I found myself getting mad and ultimately pedaling harder. I was up to 9.33 miles. I wasn't feeling the rest of it, but I did it... three sets of a trio of arm exercises and more oblique work with the kettlebell. I've been watching the show "Is It Cake" during my biking, but I've only got two eps left. So, Im going to have to find something else to watch very soon. Having the right entertainment really is a huge help and makes the miles fly by.
Edit- I heard from the physician's asst a little while ago. The news is mixed, but she wanted to speak to me before the results posted to my account later today. The sample is negative for melanoma, but there are melanocytes present, so it's not considered a clean sample. Melanocytes are really just what gives the mole pigmentation, from what I understand, so it's really only an issue if they change. She said the dr may want to remove more from the area, or he may just want to watch it since it's being stretched out by evolving scar tissue. I asked her if removing more entailed another biopsy, or if it's full blown surgery. She said it's sort of in between. I should know more tomorrow afternoon after the dr reviews it and weighs in. I'm really hoping he says to just keep an eye on it.
Agree with all the above. Hoping for the best for @HouCuseChickie , and a "wait and see" approach may be as far as this ever goes.Hmm, interesting news on the the results of your test. Seems like it is mostly ok/good news but something to watch. Hoping your doctor gives you a better understanding of what it going on. That is very kind of the physician's assistant to call you so you don't have a freak out over reading something online in your portal.

It's sort of a blessing and a curse with them reaching out. I would have interpreted the results as good since they were PRAME negative, so it's good that she called. After the full surgical excision, there was no phone call concerning the results. So, just by getting a call, I knew something wasn't right.
I should hear more later on today, so at least it's not endless waiting.
Speaking of exciting yoga, inside walking and canning peach salsa while listening to the boys Potterthon will be today's highlight's

Good morning.
Checking in with a full body workout that had a little bit of heart rate-raising cardio sprinkled in. I felt like getting my heart rate up today. It is very cool and dry this morning, so I opened the windows to let some fresh air in. I am definitely getting outside for a walk today.
I was out for a walk yesterday and I saw a dog that looked like it was loose. It ran over to me and she jumped (and slobbered) on me. I tried to see if there was any info on her collar, but she was a big dog and I didn't know how friendly she was. At first she wouldn't let me get near her, but I started walking to see if she would follow me and she did. I started talking to her and I told her to sit. I started petting her and was able to snap a quick pic of her tag with all of her info (she was kind of wiggly). I then got her to follow me to her house. I could see their backyard gate was slightly open, so that's how she got out. While I was waiting for her owner to answer the door, their other dog got loose. This house had a Ring doorbell, so I think the owner just saw me and decided she wasn't going to open the door for a stranger, so I rang her door bell again and said, "I have Sasha, she escaped from your backyard." She came running toward the door. This neighborhood has a lot of escape artists, but this was the first time I was able to get close enough to a dog to help it. The others would run away from me or just straight up growl at me. I was happy I was successful this time.
I'm glad you were able to help return the pup to her house. My youngest dog escaped through the fence about 2 weeks ago. The gate was shut, he found a spot where perhaps a bunny or squirrel had squeezed through and had pushed the wires wider, so my pup squeezed out. I was in my hammock about to nap and I thought maybe he would like to come up in the hammock with me. So I turned over and I saw him outside the fence, he was just staring at me and my other dog. My first thought was "Wow that dog by the fence looks exactly like like Baxter," then I realized it was him! Luckily he only ran to the the front door then I went to get him. We have now reinforced the fence but I still don't trust him out there without me watching him. It is like having a toddler, I don't know what he is going to do! But I'm thankful I didn't just go to sleep in my hammock, who knows where he would have ended up, he doesn't go anywhere outside the house unleashed.
Aw, I love the name Baxter for a dog. It's so cute. Growing up, we had this tiny, toy poodle who thought he was a Great Dane. He was an escape artist. One day, he wiggled his way out the door when my mom opened it and went jetting up the street. We tried to chase him, but he ran like a rabbit. We lost sight of him. It was raining, so my mom and I got in her car to look for him. We found him a few streets over, walking kind of hunched down and his tail between his legs. He looked lost and scared. I called his name and he looked up right away and wagged his tail while it was still between his legs. He was really happy to see us, because he kept trying to lick my face when I brought him into the car. I wish I could say that taught him a lesson about running off, but it didn't.
Aw, he looks like a curious little guy.He is named after Disney imagineer Tony Baxter but people think he is named after the dog on the movie Anchorman, I guess that the dog on there is Baxter. My Baxter is a little, let's say curious, I don't think he meant to escape I think he was just sniffing around the fence and something caught his attention and he popped out. Now, if I want to be in my hammock I put his harness on him and make him snuggle with me. Here is a picture of him from the other day in a force snuggle on the hammock.

I'm not familiar with the bear, but it sounds like maybe it's pretty intense. I'm sorry it wasn't what you were hoping for!Good morning.
Today I did an upper body workout. I have three workouts left and then I am taking a two week a break from weights. I feel like I need it.
I made the omelette from "The Bear" this morning. I thought it looked so amazing when I saw the episode. I finally got all of the ingredients and made it. It was...ok. I thought the Boursin cheese was too much. It was a very rich omelette and now my stomach feels gross. It looked so delicious when I saw it and the results did not match my hopes. I scratched the itch and now I know. I am left with a bag of sour cream and cheddar chips and (a lot of Boursin) now. The recipe calls for sour cream and onion chips, but my store was out. Even with the correct potato chips, I don't think my feelings would have been different. It's just sitting in my stomach now. I am glad I tried it, though. Live and learn.
When my stomach settles down, I am going for a walk.

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend.
With all of the stress lately, I just couldn’t find it in me to get back on the bike last week. A college tour before more medical stuff on Friday ignited the walking bug a bit. It was only about 2 miles, but it was in the heat. I figured if that felt good, I could do that at home… and it’s certainly not my first time hot walking. Yesterday, I went out for a bit and went 2.85 miles. I was hoping to go 3, but I think I made up for it with hours of back to school shopping later in the day. I got back out there today and went 3.4 miles, so I’m building. I’ll share walk pics at the end.
It took several days for me to hear more about my test results. I was in the middle of an appointment for K and had just been told to go to another specialist for some odd red patches on her leg (in addition to her having a sinus infection) when my phone rang. Yeah…my dr wants to cut more out of my leg. It’s not full blown surgery, but another excision. It’s going to be done right after Labor Day. On our way to the pharmacy (to get meds for K), we had a near miss with an absolutely terrifying accident. So, my head just hasn’t been in a good place.

Sorry it's been a rough time. Were the tests inconclusive? Why would they take more and not just remove the whole spot?Hope everyone is having a nice weekend.
