My new yoga mat.

That's a really pretty color. My first yoga mat was a Gaim mat. It was a Christmas gift from my husband. It's too short for me, though. It's a shame, because it's really lightweight and easy to travel with. I have a Manduka Pro. It's 85 inches long, so there's lots of room for me. It's really too heavy to bring on vacations, though. It weighs 9 lbs and when I roll it up, it's too wide to fit in any carry strap.

I hope this is all very mild for you all, if you are all positive. I hope your temp stays down, too. How is your son doing?
So far he says he feels fine....no symptoms. But he mostly stays in his room with the door shut. He only comes out for food and for school, and he's always distanced. He'll probably get it if we have it, because he does have a pillow fight with daddy every day....it's their "thing" each day, and he's been hanging out with me a bit while I play solitare. But he's probably not showing symptoms because he wouldn't have gotten it from E.

Good morning. ☀️

I did a 60 minute yoga class this morning. I did get up a bit early for it, since my groceries get delivered between 8-10 and sometimes they ask a lot of questions about replacements. I didn't want to stop my workout to keep answering questions.

Today is Furnace Day. 🎉 It's going to be 80 today, ironically. It's been pretty mild this week, so my house never got really cold over night like it did last week.

So many of my daffodils opened up yesterday. They are the small ones, but cute nonetheless. It makes me happy to see signs of Spring coming to life. :)

All of this talk about Covid is making me think I should get a test. I have what feels like a sinus infection. It's the typical symptoms--post nasal drip and pain behind my upper right cheek that goes into my upper, right teeth and refers into my ear. Also, when I move my head, sometimes I hear and feel a bubbling noise, so there is something there. I've been waiting to call my doctor. I wanted to see if it was just weather related. But it's been around for nearly a week. In the absence of covid, I'd just think it was a sinus infection. But now, I feel like I need to rule it out. I did get my hair done last week, but I did wear a KN95 mask and everyone else was masked up, too.

Aw, that's cute that they have that little ritual together.

That's really good news about your car. I remember you were looking at the Telluride before you bought the Atlas. Is that still an option?

I am sleeping a ton, too. I have no idea why, but I am going with it. I figure my body wants the extra sleep. I think I was eating more before, since I was awake for 18 hours a day. My appetite seems to have calmed down a bit with additional sleep.

Yes! I have to go to the bank at lunch to get the paperwork notarized so I can get it back to the girl today. The Telluride is still an option. We took a bunch of test drives last week and I want to do one more tonight of something else that came up on my radar.

I must have jinxed myself. I could not sleep last night. I think it was after 2:30am when I finally fell asleep. My appetite is lighter without the exercise, but I really need to get back into it.

Do you not usually need antibiotics to get rid of a sinus infection? Are yours usually viral? I always got really bad ones that wouldn't go away by themselves. I haven't had them since I had my adenoids removed and I don't miss them at all!!

What's the one that came up on your radar to try? I hope you get to test it out!

We're still waiting for E's test results. We got the weekly email from the school to tell us how many cases reported within the school. The most in one week up to now was 3 students and one teacher. This week's email was a slightly different format. They started by saying that we were below the national average, we're doing a good job, but there was a "slight increase" in cases in the school this week with 16 students and 2 teachers reporting positive tests this week. Then they said they had informed all contacts, both close and non-close, and if we hadn't heard from the school, our children were not in contact with an infected person. Which we know is BS, and I'd hardly call going from 3 to 16 a "slight" increase, nor do I think it shows how well the school is doing at preventing the spread.

It's kind of a sweet story...if you're into car nostalgia. 🤣 I bought a Dodge Durango in 2001. I loved that thing! I did previously note that it had issues, and that wasn't wrong, but my husband also reminded me that it was 5.5 years old when I started to have problems and the mileage was starting to get up there. In the end, one of those problems was costly, while the other wound up being something covered under my powertrain warranty and I got money refunded. I didn't like the various redesigns until last year's front end makeover, which gives it a muscle car look...like the Dodge Challenger. So, it gives me vibes of my original. Unlike my original, it has a third row and captain's seats in the 2nd. The new one would have to be the R/T this time because it has all of the neat vents in the hood (and I can't afford the vented hood trims above it). Ideally, I'd like to find one with the vented seats option as well as AWD, but I may have to make some sacrifices if they can't get me the right one in time with the lemon stuff. The one I'm hoping to test tonight looks like this...but if I like it, whatever I get...I'm kind of hoping to get the factory racing stripes added to it. The striped examples below are kind of what I'm thinking. (probably more info than you needed :hilarious:)

That's sounds exciting for you. I know I am due for a new car soon, but I really don't know what I'd replace my car with and I don't want to deal with salespeople. They don't make Beetles anymore. I really liked them. The one I have is the second one I've bought.

I do, but I wanted to see if it was just sinus pain brought on by the change in the weather. I don't want to take antibiotics if I don't need to take them. I get worried about them not being effective anymore. My husband had a strep infection a couple of years ago and his doctor prescribed him a broad spectrum antibiotic and it didn't work at all. She was surprised and concerned about it not working.

Hello-

I haven't done my yoga for the day yet. I opened my bedroom door to go downstairs to do yoga and I was hit in the face with the smell of natural gas. I went into the kitchen to see if all of the knobs were on the range were shut off and I remembered that our furnace was installed yesterday. So I woke my husband up and told him I smelled gas. My son was already up, so I told to put warm clothes on and get outside. It took the gas company an hour to get here. When the guy from the gas company inspected the furnace, the furnace's gas valve was so loose, he could feel the gas coming out. So he didn't even need to test it. It was in the low 80s here yesterday, so we had our windows open downstairs until we went to sleep last night I am guessing why none of smelled it. Luckily, it was so warm yesterday, the furnace never kicked on overnight. So our gas is shut off again and now we're waiting for the company who installed our furnace to send a tech out.

Honestly, the reason I cancelled our trip for this weekend is I was worried about something going wrong with this furnace. I just had a weird feeling about it. My son wanted to stay home. I was worried about CO. We have detectors, but he would have had to deal with that until we could get back up here. My son has the worst sense of smell. He only uses the stove top and the oven to cook--never the microwave. He couldn't even smell the gas this AM, so who knows what could have happened to him.

But I am hoping to do yoga later today once this is all sorted out. :)

OK-I am in with a "cardio yoga" class. This was really brutal because it was hard on the shoulders and really repetitive. It's not a favorite and to be honest, I don't consider it cardio.

My husband booked a room at the Dolphin for September. We were booked on a cruise in September, but I am not sure that's happening. I know some cruise lines are moving their operations to Nassau and I am not flying to Nassau for a cruise. I don't know if Disney is doing that or not. But I feel I little differently about cruises now. Anyway, I've never stayed at the Dolphin, but I like to have a mosey around when I am at WDW and I've eaten there a few times. It's something new and I am excited.

Good morning ☀️

I'm in with a yoga class was called "strength." It was OK. It's kind of brutal for a yoga class. I was supposed to follow it up with a 15 min class called "The Handstand Workshop." I have no interest in making handstands a part of my yoga practice, so I skipped that today. I really don't have anywhere to do it, anyway. I am afraid of kicking up into a handstand against the wall and putting a hole though it.

We postponed our DC trip again. The weather will be better in two weeks and while I'll miss the cherry blossoms, there was no guarantee I was going to see them. I'd rather walk around and dine outside in 75 degree weather than 60 degree weather.

I am hoping to get out for a walk today, but it looks like it might be stormy.

The daffodils have really popped the last few days. I took some photos of my back yard while I was waiting for the gas company to arrive yesterday.

That's great news 🎉 . You all must be so relieved. It sounds like she has garden variety crud then, which is 100X better than covid.
Yeah, she still isn't feeling great, but her fever is gone and she's not coughing anymore. She only coughed for a few days. But things still taste weird to her. I made potato soup the other night, which she LOVES, but she said it didn't taste good to her and she doesn't want to eat the leftovers. So she's still feeling cruddy, but like you said, garden variety cruddy, which we can deal with. And she doesn't go back to in-person school until Wednesday, so she should be fine by then.

The flowers look so fresh! Here, they are completely yellow, no white outer petals. I like this so much more!! It looks cleaner somehow.

Good call on postponing the trip. We have gorgeous weather here right now through Wednesday, then Thursday it's going to dump on us. Since we're no longer in quarantine, I went for a 3 mile walk this morning. My husband scheduled a dentists appointment for tomorrow so I won't get to work tomorrow, and I missed Thursday and Friday last week because we were waiting on the corona test, and I wanted to work Wednesday to make up for it and my husband went and scheduled a meeting right when he'd have to drive me, so now I can't. So I'm way behind on exercise for this week!!
