Good morning, yeah, yeah right looks like rain today!:mad::rolleyes::mad::( So I may not get out today as planned! The one day I had enough time to go swimming LOL Oh well life goes on and so do I I've already gotten 5 indoor miles done and I'm enjoying my morning tea. Smoothie for breakfast (spinach, blueberry, yellow squash) Salad with leftover black beans and leftovers for dinner. Meatless Monday seems to be going over big in my house and my boys were pouring over cook books last night to try and figure out what they want for next week. @93boomer take care of your arm!!, @epcotisbest try and stay positive, @MR FERRET get off your butt and move this week and @real mad hatter and @mrdisman enjoy your walk. So sorry about the rant about the weather.
Well I've had my cereal of fruit bran and cranberry juice ( tastes better in gin ) but today's weather is pretty poor with rain clouds everywhere..Mrs Hatter has just finished her Hula Hoop exercises,but I'am holding back to see what the weather will do..:inlove:

Good morning!! You can rant all you want cause I'm right there with you @figmentfan 423! It is cloudy here too. Did get the walk in after the thunderstorm last night so hang in there @real mad hatter ! Maybe you will get yours in.
Walking outside is the highlight of my day since I can't do a lot. You can only read so much:p
The arm is getting loser every day just still some pain. I have determined that I am going to learn patience with this recuperation:)
Eating whole-grain cereal with almond milk. Lunch is leftover turkey BBQ sandwich and salad. Dinner is hoisin grilled chicken, cuke salad and fresh green beans from my garden! Made up some menus for my hubby!!

Well my afternoon walk was completed about one hour ago..3 miles..:oops:..Tonight is a small portion of steak & ale pie with broccoli & fries..What's the bet come 9.00pm I'am Hank Marvin ( starving )...:depressed:
Three miles...way to go! I am always hungry in the late evening as well. Been substituting sliced apples dipped in peanut butter for chips and dip...not as good, but gotta be healthier.

Good morning. It's brisk today but at least it's not raining! The one good thing about the rain was I got to the library yesterday and took out Leslie Sansone's walk slim 5 really big miles. Here's my official review it's great!!!!!!! I got up early and did it. It's a little slower pace than her other 5 mile walk (5 minutes longer than 1 of them and 10 minutes longer than the other) s, but it's really fun and I like the resistance band and the way it was used. I'm going to try and borrow workout dvds from the library over the next few weeks before buying any to add to my library, because before I know it I'll be stuck inside due to the cold. As soon as the sun is up I'm bundling up and going out for my walk around the lake. Smoothie for breakfast (kale, blueberries and protein powder) lunch will be a salad and hummus and dinner will be the last stuffed pepper desert chocolate strawberry "ice cream". I hope all of you have a great day and move it, move it!

I just found a really good workout on you tube! Get started walking at home with Leslie Sansone. It's the equivalent of 3 miles in aprox. 48 minutes. Perfect for the beginner to intermediate exerciser, and best of all it's free! Great for a rainy day or when you just want to do something different. @real mad hatter I used your favorite word again! Beginners it might be a little much do the whole thing at once so start with one mile of it, she lets you know when you've finished each mile.

Good morning all! It is 63 and feels like Fall this morning. We are supposed to have a high of 70 on Saturday!! I think I am ready for it this year since we've not had a dry summer.
Woke up at 3 am this morning. Must have slept on the arm wrong. It was painful! I finally got back to sleep after 4:30 sometime. Took my final meds this morning!! Hate meds!!:)
Going to go shop or at least walk around today just to get out.
Thanks for all the workout DVD ideas @figmentfan423 . I want to get some more for winter too.
@eocotisbest thanks for the encouragement!!
@real mad hatter and @MR FERRET keep moving!!:cool:

You are quite welcome! Over the next few weeks I'm going to review what I get from my local library or things I find for free on the web. Good luck managing the arm without meds. I don't even like taking the non-drowsy allergy ones!!!!!!!!!! Hope you're on your way to recovery! xoxo
