I cooked some pulled pork, apple slaw, grilled zucchini and chicken bombs on the Big Green Egg not long ago for some "food critics." They had a couple of choices...here's the food or here's the door. Everyone chose food and it appeared there were no regrets. We don't serve alcohol at our house and one couple complained it would be better with beer, but that was the only complaint.

Love Key Lime Pie, except when someone brings out a green one. Everyone knows key lime pie is yellow. I know, just a silly pet peeve of mine.
A Big Green Egg is the best grill ever, a kamado cooker fueled with lump charcoal, no briquettes or lighter fluid. Here is a link for chicken bombs...

Awesome..We have a dish called Chicken Balmoral..It is chicken breast stuffed with haggis and wrapped in Parma ham..As far as a Kamado cooker, never heard of that one..Thought it was a Japanese lizard..LOL.

Good morning please bear with me as I have a lot to report on this morning. The past few days I've gotten some really good news and some really bad news about the same thing. Let me start at the beginning . Remember the eating cleanse I did for 3 weeks. Well there was a reason I stuck it out and didn't even think of cheating. I came home from Disney with some digestive issues. Nothing serious but very lets just say I was very uncomfortable. After doing the cleanse for a week I started feeling much better. So I started gradually adding foods back in after the 3 weeks and like clockwork as soon as gluten went back in the problems returned. My doctor was the one who suggested removing gluten from my diet. So the bad news is dairy, eggs and gluten are gone from my diet forever. The good news I think the last of my food sensitivities has finally been found. I've already added back in all of the other high risk foods before gluten as it was the suspected culprit. It will take some adjusting but I am a good cook and baker and rather creative with food so the transition won't be that bad. I already have a few gluten free cook books I picked up from the library the other day knowing it was more than likely going to be the issue. I've already talked to my doc and he said I should also avoid gluten in my personal care products just to make sure I don't accidentally ingest it. The one brand suggested is the one I already like so I'm covered there. LOL DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT FEEL SORRY FOR ME!!!!!!!!! I'm actually quite happy about this as now I know what is going on. On to some happier thoughts. so far today I did 5 indoor miles and Shiva Rae's am yoga practice. BTW I love Shiva Rae, a great practice with a great mind and body connection. And as usual I'm hoping to get out when the sun is up. I've already had my chocolate milk this am (almond milk, protein powder, cocoa powder and stevia) the rest of the day is going to depend on how my tummy is doing. I'm making chili tonight, vegan for me and chicken and beans for the boys. As always I hope today brings sunshine to your life and you are happy and moving!!!!!!! @93boomer I truly hope your arm is better today than yesterday! Thank you for bearing with me. xoxo

Soo glad you found out what it was that was upsetting you!!:) I bet it was such a relief. It really helps to find an answer for what's wrong!
It is cool I mean like 60 today and my arm doesn't like it! It stiffened up some. Yesterday it had loosened up a bit with it getting warm. So we shall see. Really trying hard not to get down about this. But I am such an active person this is really hard for me:(
Breakfast is oatmeal. Lunch is whole wheat pasta with veggies. Dinner is mussels and salad.
At least I can get my walking in. Did over 4 miles yesterday. My arms are just going to be flabby!!;)
Sorry I ranted again. Please bear with me. I am bored and feeling sorry for myself.
Everyone have a great day!! Xoxoxo

Rant away! That's what we're here for! WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!! Over 4 miles calls for a celebration. Don't worry about your arms getting flabby it takes quite a while to lose muscle with an injury, besides the muscles are working just to keep you stable. Hope things get better soon.
