Good morning! And it is a much better morning than yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ok we all know what they say about the best laid plans. My eating did not go as planned yesterday, I ate well but not as planned! ok maybe not so well but at least I ate. I managed to keep smoothies, brown rice and grated beets down without much of a problem. Did you hear that @mrdisman beets helped solve a problem! I actually ate quite a lot as I had each for all three meals. I even managed to eat a piece of gluten free chocolate cake for desert. 36 hours gluten free and I'm feeling better, not quite back to where I was but much better!!! Today I'm taking it easy:eek: No I'm not going to be on the couch all day! I'm going power shopping!!! Today I'm going to 2 supermarkets, the discount club store , the library (yea! they got in the cookbook and nutrition books I was waiting for) and I'm going to my favorite farmer's market! I'm also going to try and do a yoga practice later. As with yesterday what I eat today will depend on how my tummy is doing. Have a great weekend and keep moving.

@epcotisbest how's your sugar since you've been eating better and moving?
Going to the Dr. This morning for 6 month follow up and lab work. I am a big wimp and when they draw blood, multiple vials, I get almost sick and my arm always bruises big time. Sugar is higher than last visit, so I will get fussed at, but it could be worse, and would have been, a month ago. Wish me luck.

Happy weekend! I hope you are all moving around this weekend. @93boomer one day at a time, xoxo Busy day yesterday my dh is still in shock at how much produce I bought at the farmer's market. The quote was something like how many tomatoes can we possibly eat in a yearo_O After explaining how much gravy (tomato sauce) I make in a year he almost fell over. See he's on a low sodium diet and that stuff costs extra so it's just better that I can my own tomatoes to have for the year. The way I'm figuring I'll save a couple of hundred dollars on just the tomatoes alone not to mention the peppers, eggplant, corn, peaches and green beans. @real mad hatter you raised me right! LOL Nice and cheap! So it's going to be a busy few days in my kitchen! Smoothie for breakfast kale, mixed berries, spirulina and chia seeds for me and homemade oatmeal with apples, blueberries, ground flax seeds, sunflower seeds, cinnamon and a touch of stevia for the boys. Lunch will be a large salad with ranch dressing and dinner tonight will be lasagna. What else would be for dinner with all those tomatoes! LOL Lasagna, eggplant, zucchini, yellow squash, 2 types of tofu and tomato sauce. ok I'll be nice and make some ww pasta for the boys. So far today I've done 3 indoor miles and Richard Simmons 80s Blast Off. I got it from the library yesterday and it was 30 minutes of the cheesiest fun you can have. If you ever do it you'll know every word to every song, the entire production was very slick in an 80s cheese way, but what do you expect from Richard Simmons. You may have to do it a few time to figure out all the steps, but as with any workout you just do the best you can. I don't think I'll ever buy it but I'll borrow it again. Take care and enjoy the weekend. xoxoxo
