Oh wow! I definitely couldn't handle that.
Oh a side note, please say a prayer for my DH's boss. They were at a meeting and his boss had to be rushed to urgent care with very high blood pressure. Thanks!!
No problem! I hope he/she gets well soon!

Inspired by @figmentfan423 we went to a local park with a walking trail this evening and made six laps (two miles) before the thunderstorms hit, then we made a beeline for the car as lightning was popping all around...lots of rain in Georgia this year. Drought last year and you could not buy a raindrop...14 inches of rainfall above normal here so far this year.

Wish I could still run a couple of knee surgeries so I keep it high energy lower impact!

At the waterpark that my DD manages they have a lazy river. Early Morning and after the park closes they open it up for exercise. Aerobics in the main pool and the lazy river, they increase the speed of the water flow and you can either walk with the current or against it.

Me I walk the Pup 5 miles, 2.5 in the morning and again in the evening. Now we have added adventure to our evening strolls, darting and running like a ditz from the invasion of skunks.

I made it through day 3 of the cleanse! YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today I'll be eating pretty much what I've been eating the past few days except I'm swapping apple into the midday smoothie and I'm thinking about swapping out the rice for quinoa tonight. BTW It's back to "lemonade" today I really liked having a sweet treat yesterday so I'm thinking about having another chocolate milk today! It's so good for you yet you feel like you're cheating. I still MISS my coffee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't sleep that wello_O strange dreams but between the cleanse and heat it's to be expected. Do not feel bad for me I'm 5 pounds lighter then when I got home from Disney! That's 3.5 down from when I left for Disney. Today is just some yoga and a walk, between the lack of sleep and heat I'm thinking that's enough for today. @disneysince71 and @LuLaSue I hope you are well!!!!!!!!!!!! @epcotisbest congrats on getting out and walking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Be careful in the heat today!!!!!!!!!!! Water is your best friend! xoxo

Well, finally was getting back to getting some exercise. Did some house cleaning (bathrooms) and walking.

Was.

Had a physical Wednesday. The doctor said I looked great and not one word about needing to lose weight. Yes! Usually I get the, "What are you doing to get yoru weight down?" or "How much do you exercise?" Guess eating right and doing some activity (Disneyland walking:D) paid off.

Now here comes the bad part...I got two vaccines. Along with making me hurt from head to toe, one sent me into anaphylaxis so I shot myself with the Epi Pen. Yup. That was fun. So...no exercise for me and I'm back on the steroids. Which is also why I'm exhausted but not asleep. Oh well. Rest tomorrow and then walking at Hershey Park on Friday! Plenty of sunscreen and water:D

Hey everybody!! Hope everyone is well!
Update on my DH's boss-- he is fine. EKG was good. They think his problem was due to his diverticulitis he has. Glad it wasn't his heart! Thanks for the prayers!:)
Today cleaning a bit and see what else I can get done. Walking but probably by myself since DH had to go help with outages today.
Breakfast is whole grain cereal with almond milk and dried cranberries. Lunch is leftover lentil salad. Dinner is taco salad.
Everyone sounds like they are moving around a lot! Good work guys!! Take care and drink lots of water.:)

Glad he is OK...I had a heart scare a couple of years ago and know how truly frightening it can be...
Luckily for me it was nothing, and the stress test on the treadmill with all those wires was the worst part of the whole thing.

If we are going to be regular walkers, which we have to do, then we are going to have to do the early morning thing as well, at least till fall. My wife has an elliptical machine she walks on pretty regularly to stay in shape for 5ks she like to participate in...and she is already registered for the 2014 Disney Princess half-marathon in Feb.
I mentioned this before in another thread... I don't run unless someone is chasing me with a stick. And in my case it will have to be a really big stick.
