Good morning LOL I really miss my morning coffee!!!!!!!!!!!!! 4 days down 17 to go without coffee!!!!!!!!!! Not even decaf:eek: I don't have any physical problems but I just really like the taste of the stuff. Rant over! ok breakfast my new best friend chocolate milk with kale(sounds weird but very tasty) The rest of the day I'll be just grabbing stuff out of my fridge as it will be very hot! I made some "cole slaw", tabouleh and I have plenty of greens until I get back to the store not to mention my squash are now coming in! YEA! I also have left over quinoa and I'll have a protein shake with blueberries when I get home. Today it's going to be the worst day up here so I'm going to water aerobics (not my favorite) but at least I'll be moving! Be careful in the heat and remember LOTS of water!!!!!!! xoxo

Good morning!! You stay nice and cool up there!! Stay out of the heat!
It was bad here yesterday! I think you could cut the humidity with a knife!!
My poor DH was out working in it all day until 10 last night. He went back today too. One of his crew had heat exhaustion yesterday. Yeah they were drinking water and Gatorade, but in 90 degree temps with 100% humidity didn't help. They took him to the hospital to get iv's. I called my DH awhile ago and he said that the guy was good now. :)
So you just don't know how this weather is going to affect you! Everyone stay safe out there!!
Taking it slow on my routine today!!
Everyone have a safe and great weekend!!:)

5 days down! I still miss my coffee 1/2 out of habit an 1/2 I just love the flavor! I'm still on my eating cleanse, so today will be the same as the past few! LOL I'm swapping out my mid-day fruit to get more variety and when I went shopping yesterday I got more mixed greens for the same reason. I'm almost used to it and I don't really miss carbs as much (haven't killed anybody yet) I've found that if I eat my 1/2 cup per day late in the day I sleep better. Today I'm going to do Shiva Rea's More Daily Energy (I watched it and I'll do all the beginner modifications) I might head to the pool later if it doesn't rain before 3. Hoping for a slight break by tomorrow in the heat. Funny it can be 100 down there with 98% humidity and it doesn't bother me! Be careful in the heat and enjoy your weekend! xoxo

I'm actually doing well on my eating cleanse. Coffee cravings are down. At least a little! LOL The only problem I'm having is I ran out of room in my fridge for anything but fruits and veggies and I live with a pack of carnivores, so it's off to the store again tomorrow. I'm felling really well, but I have cut back on my workouts otherwise I'd lose weight too quickly &/or get very tired. I'm still doing my daily walk, it's the early morning stuff I've cut in half! Today same as the rest LOL kale, protein powder, mixed berries and coconut milk, salad with arugala, cuke , zuke, onion and evoo , stir fry onion, broccoli, carrot, ginger, and some cabbage, shake mango, protein powder, spinach, and some cole slaw with hemp and flax seeds. I have some nice raw cashews I'll put in something and thinking about slivered almonds for the coleslaw. Spending a good part of the day at the pool so I'll catch up with you tomorrow!

Wife and her friend left for the beach early Thursday morning and they will be home tonight....during that time I have had a total of zero pizzas....and no hanging out with the Dairy Queen or Burger King...heck I have not even been visited by that little temptress Debbie.
Did go over to the local farmer's market yesterday morning and scored some fresh home grown tomatoes picked just an hour earlier and ate a wonderful mater sandwich...just too much mayo, salt and pepper and bread or it would have been healthy.
The fresh squash was sliced length wise, drizzled with a bit of olive oil, sprinkled with Dizzy Dust rub and grilled on the egg...right beside some bacon wrapped, cheese stuffed boneless thighs...but hey, stilled way less calories and carbs than if I had shared a pizza with myself.

Yea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Little steps are much better than no steps. Congrats, staying away from Debby can be quite difficult! That was definitely much better than your usual weekend alone food!

It's a most glorious day on top of my mountain. It's 65 now going up to 83 and partly cloudy. I'm still of my eating cleanse, but what I wouldn't give for a cup of decaf! Cash, I've got cash! LOL I found a Spark People (cardio sculpting) work out on my free on demand! @real mad hatter would like that! Actually it was quite fun to do! I'm going to spend quite a bit of time walking today as it will be perfect weather. Later today I'm going to have to run out to the store! I am almost out of salad greens (just filled the fridge Friday) My squash is coming in and my cucumbers by tomorrow or Wednesday! Sadly my tomatoes have about 2 weeks to go (darn that late frost). Get out and enjoy if you can! xoxo ps I heard from @Mikester71 he's doing quite well he's losing weight and has started running! YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning guys!! It is a sunny day here too! So far--thunderstorms supposed to pop this afternoon.
It is 69 degrees right now.
I am cleaning a bit and then packing for a couple of days. My DH and I are heading to Raleigh to see The Monkees in concert! I am so excited!! LOL It should be a fun night!!
Breakfast was shredded wheat with almond milk and dried cranberries. Lunch will be salad. Dinner will be leftover chicken quesadillas (lowfat version) and grilled zuchinni from my garden and other veggies.
Probably walking this evening. We had a 2 1/2 hour hike yesterday before the rain! :)
Everyone take care and I will talk to you on Thursday after our quick get-away!! xoxo :)
