Good afternoon all! So I have good news!! I went into see the doc and told him what I wanted to do with just waiting it out on my current bp meds for awhile and he agreed! He said he thought I was too anxious about it so to relax and not come back for 6 months! Unless, of course, something goes wonky. That was a relief! My bp went down from 170/76 to 140/? after talking to him. I also asked for a very low dose anti-anxiety pill that I can take only when I have my panic attacks. So I took one about an hour ago to see if it is going to knock me on my tush or not with all the other meds I am taking. I have a yearly physical with my gyn doc tomorrow. So, we will see if I am chill by then. lol
Thank you all for all your support!! I love every one of you guys for supporting all of us on here with our problems. It really helps to talk to others that are not in your family sometimes. {{{HUGS}}}

Congrats on the good news. My wife deals with high BP as a part of another condition. She takes multiple meds and it is, and always will be high because of a kidney condition she was born with. Multiple meds and watching what she eats, along with regular exercise, does help it. It was hard for her to adjust when it got really bad, as what she eats affects it too. She cooks with no salt, watches sodium content in foods, and has had to give up some things she really likes. But she is managing, and I believe you will too. Good luck, you can do it.

That is excellent progress with the BP. And remember it will go up and down--that's normal, so don't panic if some day it goes up--it will come down again.

That's fantastic news! It makes so much sense...I mean, as big of a deal as he was making it, it was bound to stress you out. My husband went to the doc this morning and his bp is down again, too now that we have everything sorted for DS. Stress really does a number on you!! Hopefully now you can relax. Did he check the BP when you were done or did you check it at home?

Yea workout one done, taping and wrapping the ankle LOL. I don't feel any pain but am not taking any chances until after the weekend. Last thing I need is my dh taking any more time off to play prison warden:cautious: I'm probably going to stick with slim in 6 until then because it's very low impact. Boring but safe and beats being on my bum all day! THNX for all the support xoxo
