Yayyy!! The winds helped us too! We are going to try to get in a short walk after DH gets home! Still code red until midnight. There was a change in wind direction today so the smoke is not as bad. Was able to knock out a couple of miles as soon as I got home.

We are 20 miles from the closest forest fire. It has grown bigger and more firefighters coming to fight it. It is getting near some very expensive lake homes.
Pray for rain! Take care.
YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!! Way to go. I went walking until the rain chased me in. Real rain not the drizzle we've been getting, wish I could share some with you.
Hey whatever works!! LolTry Cize I think that's what worked for me
Thanks!!Praying and dancing. Stay safe
I'm not even sure what rain looks like any more it has been so long!We could certainly use it. Very little rain in September, none in October, and except for a little sprinkle Sunday morning, none in November so far.
Sweet Disney dreamsHave a good night everyone!!
I've heard great things about Cize! How long did you do it? I debated on getting it when it came out last year, but I'm a bit of a Zumba nut and didn't know if I should add another cardio program.Try Cize I think that's what worked for me
That looks amazing. I'm sitting at my desk eating celery right now.lolThis chili turned out amazing with the grilled ground beef crumbled in it. I used bell pepper, onion, roasted red peppers, jalapenos and sauteed them, then added a large can of crushed tomatoes, can of Rotel tomatoes and peppers, can of Luck's chili beans, the ground beef, a couple of tablespoons of chili powder, salt, pepper, a sprinkle of ground cayenne pepper, some minced garlic, red pepper flakes and the secret ingredients, some ground cinnamon and cocoa powder (about 1/4 Hershey bar or some Hershey kisses works too).
Let it all simmer for a couple of hours as I walked while the sun was going down.
It was out of this world good, or maybe I was just craving chili since making the meat for it a couple of days ago. Anyway, we have chili several times during cold weather, so more to look forward to later. This was a huge pot full, and I shared some with my brother, but still enough left to eat on for a few days. Was out of cornmeal or there would have been cornbread to go with this. Tonight, crackers worked fine.
Topped the bowl with some grated cheddar cheese and sour cream to make it even more decadent, but did not stop to take another pic before digging in. Tomorrow it will be even better, something about sitting in the fridge overnight makes the flavors come together better, or maybe that is just my imagination.
Hope you are OK with my sharing some recent cooks. Have not posted a lot of them lately, because frankly I have not been eating the most healthy of late. Gotta do better...tomorrow.

Oh no. I was looking forward to your post telling us you brought her home. I am typically a negative person who has the glass half empty look at life, though I hide it pretty well most of the time.
My first reaction when I read this was negative, then I realized it is a blessing instead. In my way of thinking, the little angel you were looking at gets a hopefully loving forever home. But there is another blessing. Somewhere out there is another, lonely dog, maybe in a shelter somewhere or in a temporary foster home who only wants to be loved and give love back. That little angel now has a chance to find his or her forever home too. So here I am seeing a silver lining in that cloud. Don't know what is wrong with me this morning.
That looks amazing. I'm sitting at my desk eating celery right now.lol
Oh I wasn't criticizing! They do look amazing! I have Pinterest boards full of things that I can't eat right now, so it doesn't bother me. It's just more motivation to not slack off again! Until this past year I always worked out a lot, so I didn't count calories. Eat smart at home (not keeping soda/junk food/desserts in the house), allow myself to eat (mostly) whatever I want when out. It's all about moderation.I can't like a post about eating celery. If you are wondering about food pics in a working out thread, yeah, it is kinda weird. I have a hobby of grilling and me and my brother have the same kind of ceramic kamado grill, so we are always sharing things we cook, taking pictures and comparing. Weird hobby.
Anyway, since I already have the pics of some of my grilling cooks, I started posting some of it on here. So for there has not been any objection, but if anyone gets tired of my grilling pics, I will certainly stop, but I have been posting here to share some of my weird hobby.
Inspired by @MinnieM123 last cook out of the season, I made steak and potatoes Sunday evening. But, the best part was what I did afterward that I did not take a photo of. Since the grill was already hot and smokey, I took two pounds of ground beef and grilled it to get a good grilled, smoked flavor to the ground beef, then I put it in the fridge for today. Today, I made chili. I love chili and this was very good.

Hello-
Today is a flexibility day for me. So I will just take a hot bath before bed and do my flexibility workout then. I find flexibility workouts relax me and I might as well use that to send me off to sleep.
Tonight I chopped and roasted portobellos, a red pepper, a red onion and egg plant in the oven. I seasoned them with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper and crushed red pepper. I topped them with feta and served it with rice and hummus.
So did you make burgers and then crumbled them up to make smokey chili?
