Sympathy like to you and Sans Souci. I'm up earlier, but it's only because I haven't switched over my internal clock to getting up an hour later. But, that's o.k. too. Gives me more time to play on here before I go to work. :)

Was just reading in another thread that someone mentioned if you exercise more during the day, you'll sleep like a rock at night. So, maybe try to get in more activity each day? Might be worth a try.

Good morning This morning was a bit of very fun kickboxing much more me than barre:)I'm going shopping with the guys this morning and walking outside this afternoon because it's going to be beautiful and around 70:joyfull: The time change still has me a bit more off than usual so a cup of apple cinnamon tea will do until I get hungry and make an apple green smoothie:hungry: I may even put some apple in my salad at lunch seeing I seemed to have cornered the market:)

I don't like barre, either. I think it's boring. Plus, all of those little pulses make me :mad::mad: and I end up yelling at the TV.

Hello-

I did lower body strength training workout. I really like not having to agonize which workout to do, it's all laid out for me. I just pull it up on You Tube and go for it.

I walked to my polling station. It was mild and sunny.

I am going to submit an application to adopt an older, blind dog. This is her.

Wow. What a beautiful little angel she is. I hope you are able to give her a forever home. I think it takes someone special to adopt a dog, extra special to adopt a special needs dog.
The world needs more people who care about animals and who do something about it. If you bring her home, I hope you will share some photos. The photos on the link you provided are adorable.

It's always comforting to hear about kind people in our world today. That's a very nice thing you're doing, and I'll bet that dog will bring many happy moments in your life as well.

Aww, thanks. My last dog passed away in 2009 and only now I am starting to look for another. I am still a bit reluctant, because I know with all the love comes all the heart ache of the loss.

I have always had poodles. I didn't know she was blind, but she drew me in. I saw she was blind and I started googling about living with a blind dog. We would have to get baby gates and put up chicken wire around around fence and deck railings, since she is tiny. It is nothing major.

They come out to your house and tell you what you need to correct to make the house safe for the dog. It's like baby proofing. LOL

I just found out my husband found out at work that he might lose his job because the president-elect wants to get rid of the type of work he does, which is making sure banks are compliant with regulations.

I can't believe this. It took him nearly a year to find this one and it was the only job offer he got. This is insane.

I'm so very sorry. Prayers and pixie dust

I wouldn't worry to much about it just yet. It is easy to talk about doing, not so easy to make happen. Much like building a wall.

I grilled a fatty this evening. What the heck is a fatty? It is just a one pound roll of ground sausage, coated in yellow mustard then a bbq rub and grilled indirect at 350 to an internal temp of 170. Delicious and quite moist. The apple wood smoke really enhances the sausage flavor.
These are also good stuffed with cheese and other assorted goodies, and/or wrapped in bacon, but because of the early darkness, it was just a plain one today.
Sliced, a fatty makes for very good sausage biscuits.

OMG--I quickly looked at the photo (completely missing Weber on the label), and I thought it was some sort of body rub cream!!! And I thought--yuck--a coffee body cream? (For a moment there, I thought you were a little strange. :p ) NO thanks!!! (I'll drink my coffee, but I'm not rubbing any into my skin!) :hilarious:

Why not it gets there eventually anyway just from the inside to the outside instead of direct deposit. :)
