Hello-

Today was some cardio and lower body weights. I took yesterday off, I was busy in my yard and then we went to Longwood Gardens to see this special event called "Night of a 1000 Lanterns" or some such. It was really pretty.

I have vegan enchiladas (using the word "enchilada" loosely) in the oven. They are made with homemade cashew cream. :hungry::inlove:

I am having so much trouble planting my bulbs. There are so many tough roots that I can't penetrate to make the hole deep enough for the bulb. Also, the soil is a bit more sandy than I am used to. I might put them in planters, keep them in the garage/gym and plant the plants in the spring.

I'm not used to the the change. I was up yesterday at 2:00 and before 2:30 today. Hopefully I'll be back on schedule tomorrow:hilarious: I'm still doing JS' #SOS and today was not fun. I almost quit, yes me the never give up never surrender when it comes to working out person. It was just under an hour of barre and I loathe barre and that's being polite! It's not my cup of tea or coffee if you like LOL. I'm most certainly not the dainty ballet type of person. On a happy note at least for me there were no cameras to film the mess I must have made of it. I wound up not baking or roasting yesterday because the guys helped me start getting the house in order for the holidays and get the air conditioners out. The only thing I made was some chili soup for me, the guys had left over eggplant casserole and pizza so today the house will smell very good and fall like:)

I like the time change--hate it when it goes to Daylight Savings Time. I wish they'd keep it Standard Time all year round!!

(It's early now, so you guys aren't up yet, and Figgy is making breakfast for the boys now -- so, I can dodge all of you with my comment above . . . runs and hides!! :cautious: HA! :p )

You like the time change? How to you feel about root canals, or public littering? :joyfull:

Do you like the early sunset or is it the early sunrise?

I wouldn't mind an early sunrise and a late sunset, but you can't have everything. :hilarious:

Hello-

Today was an upper body weights and cardio day. It was a tiny bit boring. The cardio was one minute of the same move. Physically, it was no problem. I got bored about 30 seconds into the move. LOL

I slept horribly last night. My doctor put me on a low-dose of antidepressant, because the light box alone wasn't cutting it. I was really trying to will myself out of it and "fake it till you make it," but it wasn't working. It's early days, but I feel like I have a little more energy (even though I take it at 6AM), but one of the side effects is insomnia. I am not sleepy in the day, though, despite it.

I have insomnia too. Have not had a full night's sleep in quite a long time. Good luck, I know what you are going through and it is not fun.

Sympathy like to you and Sans Souci. I'm up earlier, but it's only because I haven't switched over my internal clock to getting up an hour later. But, that's o.k. too. Gives me more time to play on here before I go to work. :)

Was just reading in another thread that someone mentioned if you exercise more during the day, you'll sleep like a rock at night. So, maybe try to get in more activity each day? Might be worth a try.

Good luck hopefully you'll get used to all the changes in your life soon. Be well my friend.
