Good morning! It is a chilly 54!!
Brrr at least I can pick up some hot coffee this morning while running around. Happy National Coffee Day!!
Today is stretching and toning. Probably cleaning up leaves too.
Have a great day!!

54! Sweet. We only got down to 64, but supposed to be in the 50s for tomorrow and the weekend. Opened up the windows last night and slept without air conditioning for the first time since mid-May. I love fresh, cool, brisk morning air.

For National Coffee Day I had a cup of Victor Allen Chocolate Hazelnut, then to take with me a cup of Boston's Best Jamacian Me Crazy.
Yeah, flavored K-cups. My wife brought home a bottle of International Delight Sugar Free Pumpkin Spice creamer yesterday, but I have not tried it yet. OK, so I am not a real coffee drinker, but a flavored simulated coffee drinker. I still like it even it the artificial sweeteners and sugar free creamers are probably full of a whole bunch of bad stuff.

I only wish I had your healthy habits and cooking skills.
I wouldn't knock your cooking skills! I had to learn how to cook, in my case it was survival. Neither parent could cook at all. I was very lucky one set of grandparents could cook and one of my aunts is an excellent cook. If not for them and the cookbooks at the library I'd be eating frozen dinners:eek: As far as the healthy goes look at what you ate 3 or 4 years ago as compared to now. I'd say you've made great strides.

I don't eat fat free or reduced fat foods. Fake food is not food. By unfried I mean I use only a small amount of oil as opposed to what you'd get at a restaurant.
Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that you did. It is just that, as I'm sure, you have noticed by now, I tend to go wandering off on my own tangent from time to time. I then take my meds. and all is well with the world again.:D

All of this rain can bite. my. butt.

So, I didn't workout today. I was just blah. I always feel so lethargic when it rains and rains and rains...

I was looking at airfare to go home to Chicago for the weekend. I think my husband wants me to stay put. I came back from a cruise last Friday, he set off to DC on Monday and is the train home right now and I want to leave again tomorrow. LOL

I should probably stay. He got ticket for us to see an opera on the Independence Mall Sat. I just miss home a bit...

Good morning have I ever mentioned Jillian Michaels is evil? Well she is, I hate squat thrusts and today I wound doing some when I just didn't feel like it at all! It must be all the rain which woke me up last night. Just the amount of rain and wind alone was enough to keep me up for a bit. It's clean out the fridge day so left overs all around. I'm so happy I made veggie soup because it's going to help take the edge off the yuck, on the bright side at least it's not snow:)

Clean out the fridge day is fun. My wife is usually more creative with it and has come up with some good combinations of leftovers and some good soup too. I have made a mess or two that we tried to eat but just had to toss, but made a couple of winners too.

Yup, I think it's great to attempt to identify what type of mold is growing on some of the stuff that's been there for a little while. I hardly ever use milk for things, but, I try to keep some on hand in case I need it. I also tend to lose track of time, but, yesterday I noticed that the plastic bottle seemed a little "bloated". I won't go into detail, but, it wasn't pretty at all. I should schedule a clean out day a little more often. :jawdrop::in pain::hungover:

Yeah, the key is using stuff while you can still identify what it used to be. We have found some stuff hidden back in the back that we just tossed, bowl and all out of fear of what might leak out.

Whelp, after being down for the count with a (thankfully viral) upper respiritory infection, then playing catch up with all the homework I put off because I felt so bad I did not care, and then surviving my first round of tests for the semester, I'm back to working out. Last Saturday I went to Hershey Park. I count that as a workout in itself. I had to take a few days off from that because of soreness. Given at one point I was jogging in between roller coasters, I really should not be surprised. Nothing like roller coasters for motivation. :joyfull:

Anyway, yesterday I finally got back to working out after a few days of having too many obligations and too little times. Did a 30 minute Pilates DVD, which was an ab, arm and shoulder, and thigh workout. I just fimished 30 minutes on my trampoline. Thought about getting on the bike, but was too tired.

Planning strength training tomorrow, and then more cardio Sunday. Monday will be an off day, as usual.
