Up in the Northeast, we've been wondering what kind of fall foliage there will be this year. Our area is also so dry, and we're down something like 6 inches of rain. It's been the driest year on record in MA.

As for the food part of this thread, I also had hommus, cheese, and Triscuit crackers for dinner, and a cookie and glass of milk. :hungry:
It has been my experience that the dryer and hotter the summer the better the foliage show in the fall. Usually contrary to what the "experts' say.

Good morning 5 advanced miles done. I'm hoping my dh is able to get out today today so I can go outside when the rain stops which should be around 7 or 8. I'm not going to complain too much about the rain because we really need it. Pina colada smoothie for breakfast, salad with orange ginger dressing for lunch and I'm making veggie fritters for dinner. We're also going to have some left over soup and finish up the left over butternut squash tonight.

Good morning!! It was a bit foggy this morning. 65 right now. Not out of the 70s through weekend. But we will have sun @figmentfan423 .
Got in some painting after the rain yesterday plus my walk. So, I am going shopping and meet DH for lunch. :)
Having seared chicken ******* with piri piri sauce and thyme roasted potatoes for dinner.
Hope everyone has a good day!!

It is so funny. If you type breast, it is fine. Make it plural, and you get this . Like a pair is bad for you, but one is OK.

So since I had plenty of time this morning, and I had leftover bacon-wrapped thighs, not , I decided a leftovers filled omelet was in order.
Diced the thighs, added some onions and sauteed in olive oil. Added some pickled jalapenos and cheese to go along with it then some salsa too because, hey why not. Was out of shredded cheese, so just used regular old Kraft singles. It was OK, but not my first choice cheese.

We are really looking forward to the cooler weather that is supposed to be here by tomorrow. Still no rain in sight though.

It's very pretty with lots of trees. I am sure it will be even prettier in the coming weeks as the leaves change color and drop.

Thank you for asking! :)

Good. I have been hoping you would like it. We have only moved once and it took a little while for me to adjust after we bought this house. Now, I can't really imagine living anywhere else, as I have an aversion to change. We have talked about moving away after retirement, but that is just talk right now. We have even looked at condos and houses in a few places, but who knows?

Just booked our room in Pensacola for the Blue Angels Homecoming 2016 in November. Scored a sweet deal for a place right on the beach. They do have an airshow right over the beach in July, but we quit going to that one, just too hot.
The November airshow is at NAS Pensacola, not real far from Pensacola Beach, maybe 10 miles or so.
Just down the street from where we are staying in November is a seafood place called Flounders, and I intend to eat a lot of fresh seafood. Not sure what it says about me that I am already thinking about what I will eat while there.
