Hey @epcotisbest do you have these stupid stinkbugs?

Oh my! We have them by the thousands. They are on the screens right now and once it starts getting cold they will descend on the house. I spray for them but they still keep coming. We have to battle them regularly. They get into the attic and I have to vacuum them up. Every year I try to find where they come in, but they keep coming. Hate them!

Ugh I hate these things! Ours get between the screens and windows when I have the fresh air coming in. I have been gone most of the day but since I have been back already killed 6!!

Yeah, they are a pain in the ***. What really bugs (unintended pun) me is when they get inside and zoom around the lights and ceiling fan. There is a big kudzu patch across the road from us and I think they come from over there, then decide to seek out warmth here when it gets cold. Drives me crazy. I set up a trap in the attic last year but it did not do much good. I just keep spraying and they die and I vacuum them up. Good times to come.

Oh I hate the smell when you pick them up!! Ugh!!! Well, at least you try to spray them. My DH was wondering if there was something to kill the stupid things. At least our cat doesn't have anything to do with them!

This is what I use. It is fairly effective but you do have to reapply regularly. I mix it up in the garden sprayer and spray around the screens and all around the attic. It concerns me using pesticides, but I prefer dead stink bugs to alive stink bugs. This stuff also works for carpenter bees.

Just booked our room in Pensacola for the Blue Angels Homecoming 2016 in November. Scored a sweet deal for a place right on the beach. They do have an airshow right over the beach in July, but we quit going to that one, just too hot.
The November airshow is at NAS Pensacola, not real far from Pensacola Beach, maybe 10 miles or so.
Just down the street from where we are staying in November is a seafood place called Flounders, and I intend to eat a lot of fresh seafood. Not sure what it says about me that I am already thinking about what I will eat while there.

I love the Blue Angels and I also love the Thunderbirds. I've seen both perform a few times over the years at air shows. Exciting!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did not workout today. My legs were still very sore. Boo. So tomorrow, I'll get back on the wagon. Today was me hobbling around my house.

My husband is out of town, so I am keeping busy. I just made some no-knead bread dough. I like to let it sit in the fridge for 2 days before I bake it to let it ferment and get some flavor.

OMG, the stinkbugs! A few weeks ago, I started seeing these massive bugs on my screens that kind of looked like arrowheads and had the leg muscles of an Olympic speed skater. I had to google and they are giant stink bugs. Gross. I have never lived in such a buggy place--and I have lived in Phoenix! I get a nightly onslaught of crickets downstairs and when I go walking at night, I hear these loud noises in the tress. I do NOT want to know the size of something that makes noise this loud. They are not cicadas, but something else. They sound croaky and creaky.

Enjoy I always like the one down at Mcguire now/Fort Dix air show. Lots of fun aircraft. BTW @Sans Souci that one is not far from you at all.

Good morning it looks like rain for the next few days. We really need it but it's going to go on and off until Monday. 5 fast miles done and now I'm picking through some old dvds to supplement my daily routine. I have veggie soup in the pressure cooker to go with my salad at lunch and unfried fried rice with veggies and some cauliflower rice to cut carbs. This weather brings on the feeling like i need carbs way too many.:cautious: I pulled out my boots yesterday:rolleyes::bawling::cry::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead: I need summer or at least some sun! Time to up the vitamin D

I came back from my cruise last Friday and I have been craving carbs. It's so ridiculous. It seems like all of the sudden, it is so dark, so early. I need to unpack my lightbox.
