working out for Disney

No, no waterwater ski show either. That was fun while it lasted, but have not had it for awhile now. Several things were not running today including the penguin ride, sky tower ride and they still don't have trainers in the water with the orcas. Lots of nice landscaping and we enjoy viewing the sharks and manatee too. Saw an injured manatee that they are getting ready to return to the wild following rehab. That was cool.
Talked to someone at Wild Arctic who said they probably won't have polar bears again.

Hmm . . . almost sounds at first blush like budget cutting? Just a thought . .

Any chance of a stress fracture? Sometimes, stress fractures can somewhat mimic Plantars Fasciitis. The only way to know is if it's x-rayed; yet, aside of that, it could be a number of different things. (I just knew someone who had a stress fracture, and he thought it was Plantars Fasciitis, until the doctor did more tests.)

It's the weirdest thing, because my skin itches and burns. That is entirely possible. I have been working out on a slightly harder surface now.

This happened to me last year after a pedicure and I assumed the tech was overzealous with the pumice around my heel. But this came out of nowhere. The last time it happened. I was fine the next day. Hopefully, that will be the case this time around.

I did walk bit today. My son lives too close to get the bus. So, I met him about just out of vision of other teens and walked home together. :)

I haven't worked out yet and I am not sure that I will at this point. This crazy thing happened to my foot. This morning, the heel of my foot began itching, like this deep, intense itch that I couldn't quell. I was taking my foot and rubbing it on the carpet trying to feel some relief. I was beginning to think I had Athlete's Foot. But I don't go to gyms, wear fresh socks every day and clean my shower frequently. I don't walk around barefoot outside, either. Plus, my heel didn't look "infected."

The itchiness abated a bit, but what replaced (or arrived along side it) is this bone pain. I can't put weight on a certain part of my heel. It is so weird. The pain is at the inside, just above my ankle (if that makes sense). I googled Plantar Fasciitis and maybe that's what I have? I don't know. I think today is going to be a day off.

Uh-oh!! Maybe you should get it looked at to be certain what it is and make sure it gets better pronto.

It could still be athlete's foot. My dad picked it up a few years ago, we think maybe from a hot tub in WDW, and somehow I picked it up, even though I have my own shower. It's pretty easy to pick up.

But the heel is not good, so maybe stay off of it.

Good evening everyone.

I had a cold over the weekend that came with some asthma symptoms and some aches, so I took the weekend off to recover from that. The joys of being back in school.

I took a walk today around my campus for about an hour. In retrospect, I probably should have gone to the gym because during my walk, I kept thinking to myself, "Why am I so hot?" until I got in my car and realized it was 90 degrees, which is normally above my upper limit for outdoor exercise. Oh well, I survived.

I think I might have stepped down wrong on my foot at some point. I walk on the grass at school, which sometimes means there are weird spots in the ground instead of it being flat pavement. Makes for a more challenging workout, but then I risk stepping down wrong like I did today.

I also realized that I bought my shoes over a year and a half ago, and they've been with me on three WDW trips, a Disneyland trip, and a Hawaii trip, plus for my walks . So they need replacing. I can be really bad about stuff like this. New pair ordered, will be here on Friday. Tomorrow is an off day (still not ready to resume strength training) so that's only one more workout with the old ones.

Good morning I did 40 minutes of weight loss, detxox yoga(lots of twisting and core) and 20 minutes of intervals this morning. Life is getting back to normal because I made it out with both walking groups yesterday, they move a bit slow but are fun people and I'm hoping to get out with them today. Tonight's dinner veggie chili with homemade guacamole.

And not all that unusual once one rips themselves from the exile of Disney onsite living. I know I enjoy a $22. meal much more then a hundred dollar one. It makes me feel all warm inside. :)
I had never stayed on property until this trip, and I loved it, but it's not necessary to my happiness. It was a nice experience, and one that I wouldn't mind repeating, but if we can get a better deal somewhere else, then I'm fine with that, too. And honestly, my favorite meals on our recent trip were the ones on our first half of the trip before we got to Disney. They were cheaper and for the most part, better food, too, though I will say I loved the Disney theming in a few places (whispering canyon was amazingly fun). But the rest, I could leave and still be happy with the trip. I'm not married to the bubble, as much fun as it was to experience it.

Sounds delicious!! Is it difficult to make?
It's quite easy just bloom 2 teaspoons crushed mustard seeds and 1 teaspoon each cumin, corriander, turmeric, fennel ground, a bit of black pepper and a bit of cayenne in a bit of oil stir in chopped one large onion and soften then add 2 large eggplants chopped, some chopped mushrooms and stir together then add just enough water so it cooks down just a bit and finish with a can of coconut milk and a squeeze or 2 of either lemon or lime juice

Yesterday, I rode my bike to the Centrum and went shopping with my friends. They came over from Arnhem to spend some time with me, one of them I hadn't seen in a few years because she doesn't have kids and never comes to the birthday parties. So it was really nice to see them and spend some time together.
Today, I have to work, so my exercise will be walking several miles.

Hello-

My foot feels a bit better today. There's a pink patch of skin on the inside of my ankle, but up from my heel. No bone pain, but the skin feels tight and hot to the touch. I am going to start looking for doctors, since I don't have one yet. But walking is not a problem today, so I will be doing that later after more unpacking. It's just the weirdest thing! LOL

Glad you're feeling better but be careful today!
