working out for Disney

I just got out of bed. I keep having issues with getting ill/stomach aches in the night, this happened a few nights ago, too. I think it's just stress. My brain kicks into overdrive when the lights go out. There are so many intermediary steps between now and the move--it feels overwhelming. I should probably start meditating or doing yin yoga before bed. This move feels more stressful than the London move. LOL

Anyway, I am sipping on Gatorade and since it's in the 70s, I might just go for a walk later.

Sympathy like and I think you're right about it being stress. It's just a suggestion but how about going to youtube and finding some relaxation yoga? It works wonders!!! You might also try a bit of carbs before it's not called comfort food for no reason. Any way try and just take some time for yourself.

Yes. I do have a Yin Yoga dvd, but I am going to look on You Tube and see what else is out there. Instead of going out for our anniversary, my husband is cooking tonight. He's making pasta with different kinds of mushrooms. I really don't feel like going out, so we are going to Victoria's and Albert's next month to celebrate.

I went for a hour long walk. Even though it is not hot, it was still lovely outside. It is funny, some one started at 9 am with the fireworks today. They just can't help themselves. :hilarious:

V&A sounds like an excellent idea, we're thinking about taking @epcotisbest's idea and going to Columbia for our sans kids meal, we might also do a dinner at Citywalk sans kids:D

I'm so sorry...I can relate. I was sick this weekend, but I had a hard time sleeping last night...so many things going through my head that I need to do before our vacation. And I couldn't sleep until I had written stuff on my hand to put on my list in the morning. Thank goodness I have a pen in my nightstand drawer. I couldn't even see if it was working...just the act of writing it helps calm my brain. Are you a list maker? I find it really helps me to have a list made that I can check things off...that way I can see my progress and I don't have to worry that I will forget something. I got half my list done this morning and I already feel a lot better. I organized all my lists last night, and all my travel documents. I recommend a list if you are stressed out about the planning.

I think I have that all under control, it's just the whole moving process. They did a survey of the our house back in May and they said it would take 3 days to pack everything. My current house went on the market on Friday and then there's the stress that goes with that--showings and open houses. I am just trying to take it one day at time and not think about the whole process, but I am a worrier by nature.

Hello-

i had plans to do some strength training, but we have been doing little odd jobs around the house. I keep seeing things that need to be done! We've been replacing bedroom doors, just small things that make a house look a little nicer. :)

We went for a walk, though, so I guess that's better than nothing. Tomorrow will be a strength training day.

My husband flies back to NJ tonight. It seems like I get used to him being back and he's gone again. My son and I are going back there next week, just so we can all be together for more than a few nights. It also gets us out of the house, so the real estate agent can do showings and open houses, etc. Once we go to Disney, we will be in the same place for good. When we get back from WDW, we pack our house and move. Actually, the movers pack, which is awesome, because it's once less thing to worry about. :)

Thanks, everyone, for listening to me go on about moving here. It was a rough time for us, but things are looking up. <3

Hello-

I did my new DVD again. I used slightly heavier weights this time, too, and got a slightly larger calorie burn. ;) I was lazy today, so I made a mushroom omelette for dinner. I am going to go for a walk as well shortly.

Good morning LS's 5 advanced miles done and the plank challenge is boring but good for my tummy. I'm making sweet potato soup for dinner. It's going in the pressure cooker because it's going to be beautiful and I plan on spending time walking and lounging at the pool with a book. One of my favorites The Unofficial Guide to Disney. Have a great day and stay hydrated

Hello-
I am in with Body Combat 60. I got a nice sweaty workout in 30 minutes, I will go for a walk later, too, weather permitting. We have a weather radio and it went off 4 times between 1:30 AM and 3 AM for severe weather. Needless to say, I slept pretty poorly. LOL So, I am glad I got my workout in today.

For dinner, I am taking a pita bread, splitting it horizontally and sticking each half under the broiler for a minutes. Then I spread hummus on it and top it with red onions, baby spinach, roasted red peppers and feta and broil it again. If I get really lazy, I will just take a pita and fill it with the aforementioned items and call it a sandwich. :)
