working out for Disney

Hello-
I tried a new workout today for kicks. It was a dance work out. I did it while my husband was at the gym. It was fun, I could have done without the twerking-type moves with my son around though. LOL

So, I have someone giving me the silent treatment. I have been trying get this person to talk to me. They keep ignoring me. I guess I should stop trying then? It just hurts, though. :(

I am going to make chicken and veggie skewers shortly. Have a good evening.

I've had that before where someone seemed to be avoiding me and I had no idea why. She says she's not avoiding me, but we used to talk every day and suddenly it's radio silence. It really does hurt and I'm so sorry to hear that you are going through that. But that's about them, not you. If it was important to them, they'd talk to you and try to work whatever it is out with you. Do you know if there's something going on with them that they maybe just need to be silent for a while?

I'm so sorry, I sleep walked as a kid. I was found trying to unlock the front door. My dad found me and put me back in bed. It's hard when you wake up and can't figure out where you are. I did this a lot as a kid. It's super scary for the sleepwalker. I hope she is okay . I now wrap myself papoose style in blankets at night. It takes a lot of strength to get out of that. By the time I'm awake, and ready to get up, I know to wrap myself up again.
My friend's son sleepwalked and she found him in the middle of the night peeing in the laundry basket, thinking he was in the bathroom.

Good morning my nice peaceful resting day went out the window by 6:30 am yesterday:rolleyes: The sun peeked out so a friend of mine called and wanted to go walking, power walking. So I bundled up and we did 5 very fast miles. Then my dh came home early and wanted to get some shopping done. My younger ds now has shorts for the summer with lots of grow room he also got new sneakers and flip flops. So seeing we were already out we got the grocery shopping done. by the time I got home I did another short practice just to unwind:banghead: Today I'm taking a rest day! I don't care what else is going on no stress for me today. So day 20 day done of the 30 days of yoga, some cooking but no cleaning and a nice warm relaxing bath! Have a wonderful rest of your weekend!

I had paralysis after surgery and couldn't breath. The nurses kept telling me to breath, but I couldn't, until I passed out. That is very scary. The anesthetic wasn't good enough and I semi woke up while being wheeled out of surgery. I feel for your pain. I can't imagine what you have gone through. It only happened to me once. It was the scariest thing in my life. I'm so sorry you have this. Once was enough for me.

It's not that bad. I can breathe, I just can't move and I feel like someone is on my chest hugging me. Sometimes, I feel like there's a malicious person in the room with me. But, I figure out pretty quickly what's going on. So I try to wiggle my toe and that seems to get me moving again. It doesn't happen much these days. Usually when I am jet lagged from flying to the UK or if I oversleep until 10-11. LOL

No, I subscribe to a streaming service and it was on there. It was fun, but I did feel a bit silly booty popping. I'm kind of old for that. LOL I will tell you what though. I was sore this morning from the work out and I burned a ton of calories! LOL

I am hurt that the person is ignoring me. I sent out one more olive branch, but if there is not response, I am moving on. She does this a lot and I think she's a narcissist.

Yes, we're not commandos, either. We do lots of other, non-park things, too. I like to stroll around and take everything in.
My boys are commandos and we've just always gone at their pace. Now that they're older we'll do a few commando days and then slow things down. If they want to go like crazy they can and my dh and I will take in the details at our own pace.

Good morning Monday weights and day 21 of 30 done. It's not my favorite set of practices but I may as well finish what I started. I also did Party Hiits LS:joyfull: Seeing it's going to be sunny and warm the gang and I are going walking:joyfull:

I'm trying. I looked up some extra workouts today and there's a Jessica Smith dance party that looks fun, and a zumba one that might be cool when I'm up for a little bit more, but right now I think it's a bit much for the one hip. I looked at pilates and yoga, too. When you do your pilates or yoga, do you do a walking workout, too? How long are your workouts?

I'm currently doing about 90 minutes each morning. I travel with park commandos so I have to be up for the challenge LOL Besides I've been really good about working out 5 or 6 days a week for 4 years now. Do not over do! Listen to your body!!!!!!!! Be very careful with your hip. Good luck and best wishes.
