Tonight I'm doing something with lentils and broccoli. oops almost forgot breakfast LOL Pina colada, I have a pineapple that needs to get cut up. Lunch will be a nice large raw salad:)

Yes, that's what drew me to it. She does it in her socks. I don't mind high impact, but after a while, my leg joints get cranky. These work outs fly by and they are not repetitive.
The thing I would have a problem with is where she lifts one leg and holds it out in front...that kind of stuff is very painful for me. My hip just can't support the weight of my leg suspended in the air. I'm fine if it's a quick motion like the kicking in Turbo Jam where I've got momentum to carry it through, but any of the slow, suspended things just hurt so much. Then it's just the hip joint holding it in place and supporting all that weight, and it just can't.

Hello-

I went for a long walk today. My house is being remodeled, so I didn't want to work out in front people working in my house. It wasn't super warm today, but it wasn't as nasty as it was over the weekend. I think tomorrow is a Body Pump day, since the workers won't be here. I think my foot will be ready for lunges tomorrow, too. I had a chicken and veggie stir fry with jasmine rice tonight.

Tomorrow is my husband's London interview. *fingers crossed* :)
Oh good luck to him!!! Crossing fingers, toes, legs, arms, eyes....anything that can be crossed!

How you make your pina colada smoothie? Does it keep you full? Sometimes I'll make a smoothie, but I am hungry an hour later.

Yes, there is a fair bit of that move in Piloxing. What kills my hip is horse stance, plié-type moves.

Hello-

I just finished Body Pump. I used to go to these classes in the late 90s. LOL I didn't burn as many calories as I did Friday, but I think I can bump up the weight a bit the next time. There is a streaming service that has most of the different Les Mills workouts (e.g Body Combat, Body Flow, GRIT), so I might give that a 10 day (free) trial. I'll have to drop another service if I do that.

My husband had his job interview and thought it went well. They guy told him he had a great resume with great experience and he asked my husband about salary expectations, etc. He said he would know if he wanted to call him into London for another interview by the end of next week. This job would pay for relocation and visa support if he is selected. I already have a spouse visa and my son has a UK passport, so that's not an issue for us. :) My spouse visa cost my husband's former employer about $5K and I only got to use it for 8 months. Boo. :P

Frozen spinach, frozen pineapple chunks, handful of walnuts (about 1 ounce) coconut milk, couple of tablespoons of coconut and a bit of stevia. Sometimes if I'm doing a lot of weights or lots of walking I'll add a tsp or 2 of coconut oil. It keeps me full for a while. Having the spinach and pineapple makes it thicker which helps keep me full longer

Oh I hope he gets it! I was just going to ask how the interview went. It sounds like they are at least interested! Yay!

I'm taking a rest day. Yesterday was a LONG day. It was hubby's birthday, so I was baking, plus they are replacing all the gas and electric meters in our neighborhood, and they were supposed to be here between 10:30 and 12:30 so I stayed at home, cleaned out the meter closet and waited....they showed up at 12:40. I couldn't bake or take a shower until they were done because they had to turn everything off to do the work. They finally left and I had to rush to get the pie done before I had to go to work, but DS had nothing to give to daddy for his birthday. DD made a card, but DS is not crafty, so I HAD to make the pie and let him help so he had a "present" to give. I never did get a shower. Then I walked for the first two hours of work. I can feel it today. It's not bad, but I do have to be careful how I step today, so I'm resting. Slow and steady, build up....this shall be my new mantra.

Hello-

I ended up signing up for the free 10 day trial of Les Mills On Demand. Last night, I did Body Combat, which is this cardio MMA work out. OMG, I am in love.:inlove: It moves quickly and the swap instructors about every 5 minutes. There isn't a lot of repetition, so it doesn't get boring. There are so many different types of workouts to try--yoga, cross fit-type workouts, spinning, dance workouts, etc.

I am going to do a Body Pump workout today. This is $13/month and I think it's a really good deal for all of the variety and updated content.

I only did one workout so far, I am looking at others. If I am not 110% in love with these, I will back out after 10 days. It is cheaper than another service I use that is $20/month with the same person and the same type of workout.

It's going to be beautiful here today and this weekend, too. I am so excited about the sunny and warmer weather. :)

I'm jealous.....it was so rainy today. It POURED for a while...so much for going for a walk in the park. Anyone have any low impact workouts I can do inside that are maybe on youtube? I'm wondering if I can do LS....I'm pretty sure I can't handle Turbo Jam yet.

Here are some I subscribe to. I think Jessica Smith has the most variety and she's mostly low impact.

Jenny Ford (Stepping, walking and some hi/low)

Jessica Smith (This is a mix of everything, some weights, circuits, walking, hi/lo, etc.)

Linda Wooldridge (ballet, barre)
