I hope to see you down there! Sending some pixie dust all works out!
Beyond cool. We'll be in the parks August 1-14Oh that would be cool!
Thank you for sharing the photo. I love sharing food photos. That pizza looks and sounds amazing!I took photos of a pizza I made Friday night. It is a homemade thin crust pizza that I topped with spinach sautéed with onions and garlic. Then I topped that with sun dried tomatoes, feta, goat cheese, and pecorino romano. When I took it out of the oven, I put some crushed red pepper flakes. It was so good.

Sometimes they put you in your own tent in the back of the truck. We hate that.

I live on avocados and never knew this. I always throw away at least one a week. Awesome! Thank you!!!Avacado can be frozen. Cut scoop and rub with a bit of lemon and freeze, make sure to get all the air out of the bag.
I've never camped in a camper. We went tent camping all the time when I was growing up, but I so don't want to do that anymore now. Maybe I'm spoiled, but if I don't have all my pillows and such, I end up in SUCH pain...my back and my hip scream at me and I can't sleep. And I have always hated eating outside in nature...I'm terrified of biting into a bee, which seem to be in abundance whenever there is food in the great outdoors. I LOVE traveling cross country in the car rather than flying, because that's how I grew up. But even though I grew up camping, the rustic nature of it is anything but appealing to me now. I used to love going fishing, too, but then we went with a group once and I had a ponytail and a boy cast and got his hook caught in my hair without noticing and just kept yanking and it hurt so much and I rather lost my taste for the whole institution...not to mention I can't stand the taste of trout or salmon, so fishing seems kind of a waste of time if you're not going to eat what you catch. Not much attraction in camping for me these days.I've never been camping. The closest to camping I have come is a sleep over at a friend's house. She lived on a farm and her parents put up a tent out back. We spent the evening watching Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th and then her parents set us loose outside for the night. She lived in the middle of nowhere and I never went to sleep that night. I half-expected to see a silhouette of a man in a trilby wearing gloves fitted with knives silently slicing an opening into the tent.
But I would be open to maybe doing a camper type thing, like the one epcotisbest posted above.

I'm not sure...for the first week and a half it was great. Then it started to hurt again, so I became a couch potato for a week and a half, and now it seems better. Friday was the last day of my doctor mandated rest, but yesterday I was in the recording studio ALL day and today we are visiting my in-laws. My nephew has to have some treatment for his digestive system and is in the hospital for 12 days to relearn how to go to the bathroom and we promised we'd visit at least once while he was there. So we're going to visit my in-laws, going to visit the lamb we adopted over easter, and going to visit the nephew in the hospital. I'll do something light tomorrow for exercise and see how it goes. Thanks for asking!I don't like salmon or trout, either. And ouch on the hook getting stuck in your hair! Speaking of "ouch"...how is your hip doing?
Hello-
I have been active, just not posting. I changed up my workouts a bit. I did a fair bit of cardio this week. I used a couple of videos from You Tube. I also did a DVD that was called "Piloxing", which is a mix of boxing, pilates and dance. It was a novel workout for me and not really repetitive, which I love. I get bored easily. LOL
I took today off, because I was taking my leggings off after my workout in the bathroom. They were compression leggings, so they are a bit troublesome to remove. I was pulling and pulling my foot out and it eventually flew out. My foot hit the toilet so hard, I felt sick from the pain afterwards. I am hobbling around today. It is very tender and I think giving it some rest will only help.
My husband has a FaceTime/Skype job interview for a job in London on Tuesday. Any kind of positive thoughts are appreciated.
I am going out later, so I am looking forward to that.
Here is the video I did yesterday, in case anyone wants a new workout to do. They use barbells, but you could easily use dumbbells. I didn't go as heavy as I could, because I wanted to walk today. I am still sore, but not as bad as I could have been.
