@Sans Souci are you healing up? And how's dh's job search going/ Hope both are heading in the right direction

I am here! Thanks for asking. I was feeling "iffy" over the weekend. It felt like I was coming down with something, but I never got fully sick. But I have been doing workouts from the different streaming sites I subscribe to. They are definitely a nice change of pace of Turbo Fire. ;)

My husband is getting interviews, so I am hoping something happens soon--preferably in a warmer climate. He had a phone interview with a company in San Antonio yesterday and the man who interviewed my husband told him that he had been wearing shorts over the weekend. LOL

It's a bit nippier today but both groups I walk with are going out. I'm starting to think I'm burning more calories just getting in and out of the 10 layers to go outside than the actual walks:confused: Spring I really need spring. the only upside to this weather is you burn more calories when it's cold, I'd rather just do an extra mile in nice weather:)

It is supposed to be in the mid-sixties and sunny here this weekend, so a big change from last week. That is one of the things about winter in the south...don't like the weather this week, stick around until next week.
I have to layer up as well. You should see my wife when she puts on several sweaters, long underwear, sweatshirt, coat, hooded down-filled coat, gloves and scarf. It looks like a small Michelin man got dressed in the dark.

That's exactly what I looked like this morning it was 24 for my first walk:coldfeet::coldfeet::coldfeet::coldfeet::coldfeet: Not much better for the second. It will be in the 50s this weekend. I'll take what I can get this time of year.

But . . but . . . 25 is nice and refreshing for a walk. :)

On another subject, I tried the individual, Libby's cup of corn tonight. It was very good--even better than the green beans. Funny thing was that I forgot to just slightly vent the plastic, that sealed the little cup in the nuker. After about 40 seconds, it started to flip around and bang against the walls of the microwave! HA! (My dog ran into the other room, as he thought something was attacking the kitchen!) :p

We're going to go see some friends later today and lucky us they live by my favorite store to get veggies this time of year. I wish I lived closer. To see our friends and get a better selection of fresh goodies. 5 advanced miles LS and some cize before we leave. Have a most excellent and healthy weekend. xoxo

If you have an hour I have a suggestion. we finally watched "In Defense of Food"(Michael Pollan) it's not too preachy and carnivores will find some good news in it. It can now be found on youtube for free. Free, educational and not too preachy sure beats some of the mind numbing garbage on tv.

Hello-

I have been out of service for a couple of days. I woke up with pulled/stiff neck yesterday and it's only marginally better today. It's impossible to work out, because I have to slowly stretch my neck to straighten it. Sudden moves are painful. Ugh. I am hoping tomorrow will be better. I have been taking hot showers, ibuprofen and putting a heating pad on it. I don't think there's much i can do beyond that.

I hope everyone has a great weekend. :)
