I lifted fork from plate to mouth. Not much weight, but plenty of reps!
If you are looking for low carb ideas, Against All Grain dot com is a good website. Her cook book is pretty good, too.

I liked this because you did something smart. Please be careful and I'm so happy you stopped when you got dizzy! I hope you're feeling better today.Hello,
My neck/shoulder finally felt normal today, so I did a streaming workout that focused on the upper body. I had to cut it short, because I felt dizzy/nauseous. I think my appetite is kind of down because I am stressed, so I think I had a blood sugar drop. It's something new, but I will keep an on it, but I really think it's because I only had one meal today. LOL But I got 45 minutes in, so it's not too bad.
I am going to catch up with the posts.
It's not low carb but I'm making a corn and bean stew with jalepenos, peppers, onions, celery and a few other veggies for dinnerIf you are looking for low carb ideas, Against All Grain dot com is a good website. Her cook book is pretty good, too.

Way to go not Idaho!Grilled a couple of strip steaks late last night in the dark. Did a reverse sear at 700+ degrees after the smoke cleared. Very good late night meal with some roasted broccoli for my side dish instead of a carb-laden baked potato.

But what if you don't like the taste of grass?I recall some years ago, that my doctor told me that if someone doesn't feel well enough to eat much (because of illness or other reasons), to not focus on full meals. Rather, he said, just graze like a cow during the day--with smaller amounts of food throughout the day. He said it's better to eat smaller amounts only when you're hungry, and you'll keep up your strength better that way. Eventually, you'll return to full meals. Hope you feel better soon.

That sounds really good. I made stuffed peppers for my wife last night and I had some leftover grilled chicken and a nice side salad. It's not low carb but I'm making a corn and bean stew with jalepenos, peppers, onions, celery and a few other veggies for dinner
Are you sure spam is really meat?I had a very low carb breakfast of eggs and Spam today. I must be getting less tolerant to the sodium because it was very salty tasting. Will try the lower sodium Spam next time. I have always liked Spam. Grew up very poor and when we had meat for dinner it was a treat. Now, I'm not sure how much meat or what kind is in Spam, but I still like it. As a kid, when I did get a Spam sandwich, or some fried Spam, it was a big deal. Some things bring back bad memories of a childhood lived in poverty, but not Spam for some weird reason. OK, I shared more than I should...here's something on a lighter note:
Well, it is meat-like.Are you sure spam is really meat?

Thanks for the kind words. Yes, will be buying the low sodium kind next time. What tastes good to you is all that matters, even if Spam isn't a fancy meat (combined with other ingredients). A lot of families bought Spam years ago, some for financial reasons and others, because they just liked it. As you said, it was a treat when you had it as a child. Now that you're an adult, perhaps it's comforting for you to go back to that childhood place in your mind, when you think about Spam.
Maybe try the lower sodium can next time, and/or decrease your portion size, with thinner slices.
Now I would pay to see that video!Good morning today is a cardio day. Nothing like a bit of Zumba to get the blood going. BTW there will never ever be video or photo evidence of me and my 6 left feet trying to do it. Don't even ask LOL It's also nice enough that I will be heading out twice to walk today tonight's dinner will be stir fryless with a dozen assorted veggies I'll add in some tofu for me and grilled chicken for my carnivores.
That sounds good. Might have to try it without the corn for Super Bowl Sunday.Good evening.
I am attempting to get back into the swing of things, I did take yesterday off to make sure I ate more and drank more water and then did a lower body workout today. I am happy to report I experienced no nausea or dizziness.
I just had leftovers tonight. I found a recipe at Skinnytaste. It is called Chicken Santa Fe, or something like that. It's chicken broth, a can of Rotel, a can of black beans, corn, a few different spices and chicken *******. You just throw it all into the crock pot and let it do its thing. There's enough for quite a few meals.
