You need snow. With snow, you can shovel and that burns plenty of calories. I shovelled out yesterday, and this weekend we're getting another snowstorm. So that will be my cardio workout for the week, and it's nice to be outdoors!
Snow shoveling is both a weight and cardio workout. I don't shovel snow as I have 2 boys who are trying to earn every penny they can for vacation. It looks like they might make a few dollars this weekend. Good for them bad for me

OK, you vegetarians out there look away. Smoked a 10lb Boston Butt for 11 hours Saturday to an internal temp. of 200. It was very moist and tender and shredded very easily. Pulled pork is one of my favorites. No carbs, very tasty and goes with just about anything. 17 degrees and windy here this morning so I won't be walking this off today.

Suck it up. I dressed like the Michelin tire guy and went out twice for a mile each time and it was only 10 and windy! LOL That and 5 indoor miles. I hope we have an early spring so I can spend some serious time outside walking!

Good morning so to speak. I think the cold has gotten to me so I had some chips and salsa last night. At least it's a bit warmer. I was up early even by my standards so JM's ripped in 30 is out of the way and the first batch of yogurt is in. Smoothie with mixed berries for breakfast and red beans and rice, collards on the side for dinner. Lunch will be a veggie stir fry or salad depending on how warm I feel. i hope all of you are happy and healthy.

Busy busy day. 5 indoor miles at home and then an early morning ambush off to the mall and then ambushed again to walk around my neighborhood before the snow comes tomorrow. I made a pot of low carb turkey soup for the men. For me yogurt and berry smoothie, rice cakes with peanutbutter, salad and raiding the fridge for dinner. I refuse to do any more cooking. After oatmeal, soup, yogurt, and 2 types of beans(in case power goes out) I'm done!

Good for you. We have had our power go out. I keep peanut butter and rice crackers on hand just in case.

I took yesterday off. My right knee was acting really wonky yesterday, so i just let it rest. I am on the fence about working out today. I think I am going to have to give up Turbo Fire. I have a pain in my left hip crease that is sore and tight when I rotate my hip outwardly that started just after I started Turbo Fire. Luckily, I subscribe to some streaming services that are more joint-friendly. It's just frustrating, because I am capable of doing these workouts, but I think I am too young for joint replacements right now. ;)

@MinnieM123 how's the veggie trying going?

I completely forgot about it this week!! :jawdrop: No, it wasn't intentional at all, either. I think I was just distracted every night after work this week, and just grabbed snacks. Tomorrow night is Friday, and we always go out to eat on Fridays. On the weekends, I always cook dinner. So starting next Monday, I'll be back to the Libby's veggies again. My next one to try is the corn. :hungry:

I'm so sorry to hear that but i think you may be right nothing is worth an injury! Be safe and heal quickly! how about going back to yoga for a while? It's just a thought as you won't be bouncing around. I really am impressed you put up with her for so long.

Another fun day I got up and did a bit of Zumba, took a very nice walk with some friends at the crack of dawn and tried Cize. Lots of fun and a bit of sweat:inlove: I just wanted to have fun today. Late lunch Italian salad lettuce, cucumber, tomato, green and yellow squash, a bit of onion, white beans, fennel seeds, oregano, basil and a touch of Olive oil and apple cider vinegar.:hungry::hungry::hungry:
