working out for Disney

Close to 60 here today (it was a little breezy so it felt a bit nippy) but I did not have time to get out and walk. Supposed to rain tomorrow then colder again. I used to not mind the cold, but with my advancing age, as I have mentioned before, I am less tolerant of the cold. With a practically balmy December, we are due for some cold.
Ohh I am right there with you. I hate the cold more with getting older. Don't know why that is but I do.
We have had the wackiest weather this year. I think we will miss any snow this round. I wouldn't mind one pretty snow though!:)

Hey!! How are you? Yes, for the most part. Still trying to decide on what we want done in the living room.
That's such a hard job. We did this a few years ago, hubby left me with all the decisions. I admit I made several mistakes. But we are living with those. Our contractors weren't the best. We had to call in second contractors, as the first were sued and put out of business. Such a pain! Our deck was put in wrong, among other things, in plumbing. It's common for this to happen in Denver.

I wish I could send you ours, I'm tired of snow for last and this year. We have had several snows since October. Not fun! I'm to old to go inner tubing, was fun about 10 years ago. We went to a ski area that had tubing. You could get up to 20mph in a tube, it was fun. Now I have to have my heat at 75 degrees. Talk about getting old!;)

There is no part of the above that is edible. I admire anyone that can do that. I personally would, and probably will, die fat.
Hubby agrees with you. He is pleasantly plump, as he likes to call it. He did develop diabetes, he has to stay on a low carb plan, Doctor keeps close watch on him and me. I was pre diabetic, and now I have to watch carbs.

Both of us are pretty much teetotal
She was even sober when she said "I Do " :p
I was too, but when I lost one half of my vision the lower half of my eye went blank. My Dr. suggested any alcohol 1/2 ounce to keep the circulation going. I must admit it has worked with no increase. I do one whole shot before boarding a plane, Drs. recommendation to prevent DVT's. Deep Vein Thrombosis. Basically a blood clot that can go to your heart and kill you. I do get up every hour to walk on the plane too. Dr. said to do this too! So far so good. My dad died from heart disease, my mom died of heart disease, my sister has heart disease, and my brother died early of heart disease. It's important to have only a little alcohol. Dr. seems to think this is right for me. Funny, after you do this for a few years, the alcohol part has no buzzing effect. I look at it as another medicine I have to take!

Hello-

I finished my second week of Turbo Fire today. My left knee was a little cranky during today's workout. The other day, one of the "toning' workouts showed up in the rotation; it uses resistance tubing and I thought using it was really awkward. So, when I another toning workout appeared, I just subbed it in with one of my PiYo discs. I haven't used them much since I bought them, so this way, I get use out of them.

I hope everyone has a fab weekend. :)

My husband might want your doctor's phone number...

Good morning more carp today so I did Lelies Sansone's 5 advanced miles (m1 with weights, m2 intervals, m3 with belt with stretch cords, m4 fast, m5 with stretch band) Yoga later so I don't wind up knocking a hole in my wall. I hate winter and like being able to get out even when I don't have to. I'm making real pizza for my older ds and dh. Gf/DF for myself and my younger ds. I'm also going to make "meatloaves" and freeze one for later use. I'm also going to make squash pasta with mustard green pesto I'm hoping this experiment turns out well.

@Sans Souci I don't know how you do it! Wat to go!

I don't, either! I am not sure I will make the whole 90 day program, since I get bored easily. But I have a photo from a year and half ago, when I was doing Turbo Fire and I like how I look in it. So that is my motivation. I did so much stress eating in 2015. We moved to London, thinking we'd be there for 3-5 years, per my husband's employer, but we were drop kicked back here at the end of July. My husband has been unemployed since then, but he is starting to get a lot of interest. On a personal level, I learned that eating to quell emotions is not a productive means to deal with stress and I am taking steps to squash that habit.
