Speaking of walking LS's 4 mile power walk 2 classic miles and 2 hiit miles followed by the blue mile (ultimate 5 day) The roads cleared and the temperature is rising so I will get out even if it's only for a short walk later. I feel really good after NMTZ yesterday not sore but I can feel I hit what I wanted to. I'm making a cabbage with assorted veggies and some coconut, pineapple, apple and kiwi and the dressing will be a bit of coconut oil, orange and lime juice and a bit of stevia. I'm the guinea pig for something I'm planning on making for tomorrow's party

Hello-

I got side tracked last night, but I did do my workout. It was lower body strength training, a bit of hiit and some pilates to get those little muscles in the glutes. What a burn! :D

Today is a stretching day. I am also busy cooking goodies for tonight. I am going to be a bit naughty tonight and then give up the sauce in January.

Here's to an awesome 2016!

Good morning and happy New Year I got a bit of a boo boo on my knee Wednesday. Just a boo boo but no lunges, squats or kickbacks for a few more days:( At least I can do LS walking workouts I had to modify some of the moves:( so yesterday it was 5 advanced miles and today 5 fast miles. Tomorrow is supposed to be a yoga/stretching day I'll have to see how I feel then. I hope all of you are doing better than me today xoxo

Well, I'm certainly not a sports trainer, but I have read that sometimes it's beneficial to take off a few days from an exercise routine, to just let your body rest. I would think this might be an opportune time for you, with the injury to your knee. My (guess) is that you'll feel even more energized when you go back to normal exercise, after a few days off. :) (Hope your knee feels better soon.)

Thank you and I always take a day or 2 off each week and never ever do 2 days in a row with weights on the same body part. Tomorrow is nothing but a bit of shopping and an at home spa day! I'll see how I feel Sunday maybe some upper body but nothing too hard on my leg for a few more days. With 7 months to our big trip no way I'm going to push too hard.

Happy New Year!

So, my first workout of the new year is HIIT 30 + Stretch 10 from Turbo Fire. I felt like shaking it up and getting sweaty. This fit the bill. I have attempted the entire 90 day program a few times and never made it through, so I'll see this time. She gets to be a bit much after a while and there's about 2 dozen people in the workout--someone's always mugging and duck facing at the camera. There's a lot of whooping and hollering. I can also see my knee getting a bit cranky from too much high impact. Anyway, as long as I am moving, that's all that matters.

I woke up early feeling much better and did LS 5 advanced miles. I'm going to keep anything I do modified for at least a few more days. I hate doing that but I don't need or want to have any problems. One of my friends made a resolution that she would get out and start walking, she's hoping to be able to join one of the groups I walk with by spring when we all head back outside. Something tells me I may get my money's worth out of my fleece leggings LOL Tonight is soup and salad I have leftover roasted root veggie soup and the ham bone is out of the freezer and now in my crock pot and will meet up with some split peas and veggies later.

Ok peeps @epcotisbest , @betty rose and @Songbird76 the holidays are over up and at em LOL Hoping all of you are well and healthy! xoxo
I'm back, and back on my bike. I did 30 minutes yesterday. Doing a lot of packing and cleaning to donate today. This is my New Year's habit. Get rid of old, things that don't work in my daily living. And most importantly, getting rid of one kitchen tool. A mandolin. It's not good for finger's!:happy:

Hello-

I didn't check in yesterday, but I did work out! :) I did Fire 30+Stretch 10. Today I have a work out called "Fire 55 EZ." I am going to see how long I last with this program. LOL

Also, my husband found this really great job in London and he applied for it this morning. Any positive thoughts for this to happen would be appreciated. :)

I did LS's 5 advanced miles again. OMG I can't wait until I'm 100% again and can do some serious leg work. At least I'm getting cardio and upper body in. BTW The yogurt came out great with almond milk, it said to add in some vegan gelatin, I added the amount stated it's a bit too thick so I'm going to cut back next batch. I love being able to make my own so I know what goes in it:)
