Good morning and it's raining and I'm almost happy as it's not snow LOL Lots of walking inside today. LS 5 fast miles and a DVD called Stretch Into Yoga. The yoga was just ok not great as you can tell it was done with commercial breaks built into it. I'm really trying to get some yoga in each day even if it's only 10 or 20 minutes to reduce the holiday stress. Tonight's dinner for everybody but me Smoked pork soup. I pulled the bone and some meat out of the freezer(Thanksgiving leftover) and I'm adding a bunch of veggies and turning it into soup. With the rain I'll do at least 2 more inside miles and maybe some more yoga. I need today because tomorrow starts a week or so of crazy days!

Last night, I did an upper body strength training/ cardio interval workout and today I have a Tabata and abs work out. I had a sneak peak at it, and wow, it's giving me the dreads. It seems very repetitive. I'll just dig in and do it. Tomorrow is a nice stretch day.

I'll be scarce, too. Today is cleaning day; and tomorrow and Friday will be non-stop cooking days. Merry Christmas in case I don't come back on. :D

OK, I did my "Dread-y Workout." It was very boring and it will be removed from future rotations. I'm off to shower, eat some dinner and make so Almond Cloud Cookies.

(I am baking, so my husband will clean. ;) )

Yesterday I got in LS's 5 advanced miles and 15 minutes of yoga for stress and today was 5 fast miles. At least I got my steps in. We're doing the feast of the 7 fishes today or at least my men and company will. LOL I'm really going to try and get some stress reduction time in later. Merry Christmas to all and to all great health. xoxo

Wow, I just finished the first workout of week three in my Fitness Blender program. They really ramped up the intensity this week. LOL. I did a hiit workout, followed by a leg workout where I went as heavy as could without giving up form. There was a 7 minute "extra credit" work out I had intentions of doing, but by the time I was done with my legs, I reconsidered. Legs are toast! LOL

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas. :)

Oh and for the carnivores amongst us...my husband made the turkey yesterday. I guess in England, it is popular to drape bacon over the turkey (my mil has always done this), but then he took sausages, wrapped them in bacon, and cooked them until they were immolated. To me, that is painting the peacock.

So, today was lean proteins and veggies all the way. lol

We had a wonderful Christmas thank you for asking. Way to go working out the day after the holiday I took yesterday as my do nothing zen day. After Christmas shopping for way too long. ok not exactly nothing but no stress. I got out shopping super early with my boys and headed home once things got too busy. Then some time for a DIY facial and long soak in the tub. I also went raw yesterday lots of squash noodles and greens :hungry::hungry::hungry: Both oriental and Italian style:hungry::hungry::hungry:

Did you like it? My husband and son went last week. I stayed home to enjoy the silence. :)

I am checking in with an eclectic workout that combined kick boxing, upper body bodyweight exercises, Pilates and yoga. I am going to fix my dinner of baby spinach, grilled chicken with toasted almonds and avocado, then I will pour a glass of pino grigio and watch some Golden Girls. LOL

Good morning 5 miles LS Ultimate 5 day walk plan. I'm going to smoothie for breakfast and Salad my day away. I'm having so much fun playing with the spiralizer I got for Christmas. No more making veggie noodles with a peeler! Fun and both green and yellow squash were on sale. Win, win

Hello-
I am in with an ab workout, a hiit workout and a 5 minute lower body "burn out."

I am glad you liked Star Wars. :)

I have been meaning to buy a "spiralizer," but I just can't bring myself to eat "spirlized" veggies. I love veggies, but I also love pasta. I know I should try them, before I pass judgment on them. I have a few recipes, but I worry they just won't measure up to the real thing. LOL

The veggies are different, not bad different just different. I really like them for making salads, it's a great way to get some different ones in and it's also good for ribbon cutting potatoes and sweet potatoes. I put the potatoes in a glass baking dish nuke for a minute or 2 and then toss with a midge of olive oil and bake. so much healthier than fries.

Good morning the howling wind shook me out of bed so I did JM's No More Trouble zones. I like that one because it seems to hit everything. I also did LS Walk to the Party Hits. I'm going to try and do another mile or 2 of hers because it's icy out and I'm trapped inside today.

That sounds like a good idea with the sweet potato fries. I think I'll get one, even though I have so many gadgets lying around my kitchen.

Good evening-

Today was an upper body cardio circuit-type workout, followed by an upper body "burn out." I don't know what it is, but I really don't like upper body workouts. I think it's because I don't burn as many calories as I do with a lower body workout. I also find them boring and the cardio intervals featured minute long burpees--thanks, but no thanks. :p

Tomorrow I have a lower body strength, hiit + Pilates workout, I prefer those types of workouts.

I feel your pain or lack there of LOL:confused: I think that's part of the reason I like walking workouts, I know a mile is a mile and burn X calories give or take a few.
