working out for Disney

Hello-

Just checking in with a Fitness Blender You Tube work out. It was a HIIT workout followed by some ab work. I am sure my lower body will be very sore tomorrow. :)

@epcotisbest --good to see you again. Thanks for sharing your photos.

I just wanted to say thanks for having this space to keep me accountable. This has been a stressful time for me and having this thread to post in has helped me start to take (baby) steps to improve myself. :)

Thanks. We like the air shows and I enjoy sharing the pics though I am sure some may have no interest at all.
I too went through some stressful times and sometimes felt things would not get better, but they do!
Strange as it may seem, sometimes the big ole crazy world can seem overwhelming then along comes some simple words of encouragement from someone who believes in you, someone you don't even know and have never met, someone who believes in you when you don't seem to believe in yourself, and that one little spark makes a cold dark place seem warmer and brighter, at least for me. Keep moving!

Stay safe!! We had nasty winds for the last few days. Last night, it blew over trees, it picked up our trampoline and moved it, it set off someone's car alarm. It can be pretty dangerous...one woman accidentally drove into a downed tree and was injured. Be careful out there!!
We wound up with lots of wind and rain, and my yard and road to the house are covered with leaves and debris including small limbs and pine needles, but it could have been much worse. South of us there were a couple of tornadoes. Fortunately, they only touched down briefly or it could have been much worse.
I only have to spend Saturday raking and blowing leaves, whereas some unfortunate people who fared worse have to look for parts of their house that were blown away. Been keeping them in our prayers.

I am in the south and it has not gotten real cold here yet, but it is coming. I used to be be more tolerant of the cold, but now find myself dreading it. Lots of wind and rain here today...lots of yard work in my future.
Sympathy like. My bike ride to work was torture again today...good exercise though. It wasn't as bad coming home because the wind was behind me instead of coming at me...going there felt like I was hardly moving forward. And at least it was dry. It's raining steadily now and it supposed to rain the rest of the night. I have to go to the school for the PTA to help decorate and to wrap presents for the Sinterklaas celebration. So glad I live only a block from the school!!!

I'm so happy you were spared the worst. On the bright side you should get a good workout raking and blowing like the big bad wolf:confused:

Just checking in with 3 miles walked in the drizzle, at least it's warm and not too windy here. I also did a bit of Zumba to get going this morning. I'm down to under 8 1/2 months before Disney so it's not long before I'm into full on crazy mode.

You mean, this isn't full on crazy mode? Goodness....how much more do you do?? And where do you find the time?? I need your energy!
