Checking in with a lower body workout. I hope I can walk tomorrow. I also took the step today of severing ties with a close friend because I was always there for this friend, but there was no reciprocity. I don't need that in my life and I feel better for doing it.

@epcotisbest, are those poodles?
The one with his head in the water bowl is a Maltese and the other a Maltipoo. They are both rescues, about two years apart in age. The boy is a bit nuts and barks a lot, especially at bigger dogs. Guess he does not know how small he is. The girl, who is younger, is very full of life and energy. They sorta drive me crazy, but I guess that is part of it.
I can relate to the friend issue, except I did not have to sever ties, we just kinda mutually grew apart. Still hurts though.

They are so cute! I love smaller dogs. I have always had poodles and I think they are very intelligent. I would love another one day.

Been traveling a lot lately but when we have been home on a Saturday night, our local PBS has been showing old movies. Lately we have watched The Bridge over the River Kwai, The Great Escape, Some Like it Hot, and this week, the Sharks vs. Jets in West Side Story. Hope everyone has a good weekend.

OK- no workout today. Last night, I started feeling queasy and I went to bed with a headache. I have been up since 3 AM. I still don't feel right and my appetite is not there. It's just like a low-level nausea and fatigue. It's not a full blown stomach virus and I hope it stays that way. LOL

I looked at my calendar and I have worked out 6 days in a row this week, so this is probably a good place for a pause, anyway.
I hope you're feeling better by now! Good on you for listening to your body.

My exercise Friday was riding my bike and then yesterday I walked for about 4 hours with my daughter. She did really well...usually she makes it about 2 hours and she's done, so 4 hours is great for her. We went shopping and she was rewarded with a new outfit for Christmas and some new earrings.

That's so hard! But so glad you feel better for it. That's not really a close friend if they don't reciprocate. If it's one-sided, it's not a friendship. I'm so sorry you had to do that.
