Good morning just checking in with Jillian Michael's No More trouble zones. It's cold and windy so the only way I'm going to go outside and walk would be for me to dress like Kenny from South Park and it's a day too early to put on a costume LOL I guess to get in my steps today I'll pop Leslie Sansone's Ultimate 5 day walk plan into the DVD player and do a mile or 2 at a time. Have a great day and remember to move it move it

I think @epcotisbest is on to something with the hating Halloween thing! Way too much temptation with all that candy around. I'm lucky as I can't eat most of the junk or risk tummy trouble. So for the rest of you be careful.
Well, I guess part of it is just that I am a grumpy old fart and don't like all the weird imagery that accompanies halloween. I hate it, hate it, hate it. Can't go to stupid CVS without being bombarded by ghosts, goblins, vampires, spiders, gravestones...to me it is a little bit sick...but that is just my humble opinion.
And then there is the whole idea of kids out begging for candy...I won't harp on that but giving them all that sugar? Seems iffy at best. Anyway, climbing down off the soapbox now. Our halloween will be spent at an airshow watching the Navy's Blue Angels...the best of the best.

Hey Grandpa, what's for breakfast?
Well it’s Friday morning and you know what that means, you can eat ham and eggs till you’re bustin’ at the seams.
There’s cheesy grits and toast and jelly, all the more to fill your belly.
Some hot sauce to give it a kick, and a Yeti full of Diet Coke after your plate you lick.
Coffee and creamer and then a bit more creamer, wake up sleepy eyes, you sho are a dreamer.
(with a nod to Grandpa Jones)

Woke up this morning very early and could not get back to sleep so I decided to make breakfast and try not to wake my wife.
Well, I did wake her, but after filling her belly, she did not complain.
I have mentioned before how I love breakfast, and this was pretty tasty, though the toast and grits added many carbs.
Luckily, I only had a bite or two of each.
Hope everyone is well and has a good weekend. Supposed to be a chamber of commerce day here today and tomorrow
before rain returns for Sunday.

Enjoy! I always like a good air show. I hand out pencils to all the little beggars. I refuse to hand out candy!!!!!!

Sodium...another issue at our house. Made a box of Zatarans black beans and rice, added in some tomatoes, peppers, onions and garlic for a nice side dish, and it was almost too salty to eat and I did not add any salt like I used to do. Pulled the box out of the trash to check the label and sure enough, 800 mg of sodium per serving. The tomatoes, another 400 plus. Lesson learned...make my own from scratch next time and quit buying the prepared stuff.

That looks so yummy. I love eggs and bacon. I've pretty much been cooking breakfast for over 46 years. It's still my favorite meal of the day. We do the eggs and bacon thing, only on week-ends. We used to do that every day. But, no matter what I do, I still have high cholesterol.

Yes, we love breakfast here as well and often will have breakfast for dinner too, makes for a nice change. Same here in saving big breakfast for weekends, but since I could not sleep, it just made sense to jump on it a day early, so I will have to eat better tomorrow to make up for it...no wait, fast food breakfast tomorrow while on the drive to go see the Blue Angels. Oh well, fruit and water Sunday I suppose!

Excellent decision! A few people ask me why I make everything from scratch, easy answer I started reading the back of food boxes!

Good for you!
I did it with no issues. I spent more time walking . Tomorrow is just walking. Sunday off. Hubby is doing every other day too. He is on one day, and I'm on the next. That works out nicely, as we do our riding when we feel like it. I made cabbage, carrot, onion, broccoli soup, with Great northern beans. One half slice of bacon, for flavoring....so yummy!

Checking in with a You Tube workout. @figmentfan423, this looks like it might be something you'd like maybe.

I think next time I will do it on my rebounder, the cardio segments were completely high impact.
It looks like fun. The plyo portions look like they might be a bit much with my knees, but they're short enough I should make it through. I can always modify if needed. I wish I had a rebounder.

Happy farm market Saturday. I did LS's 5 mile fat burning walk to get my steps in as it's going to be a busy day. I should have time to get in a short practice between when my boys leave with their friends and when the beggars come around. I'm hoping I find some really nice cauliflower because I'm in the mood for cauliflower fra diablo:hungry: I'm also going to pick up maple syrup and lots of arugala and spinach well at least that's the plan. Have a great day and be careful out there.

I hope you do too. All of our cauliflower has black on it. I know you can cut it off and still eat it. But, I figure it's too expensive to cut off all the outer layer!:( Frozen week starts!:D
