Really that's interesting! I have never used any of these. Do you get them at GNC?
I usually have coupons for Wegman's. Gnc and vitamin world usually have them also. I'm totally vegan and lift that's the only reason use them (you know at certain times) I don't reccomend them as most people get pleanty of protein!

Gotcha- that's what I was wondering. I get plenty if protein so I won't get any. I love my fish and chicken! Thanks Figgy! :)

I love my couch potato but his DBD (diet before Disney) isn't going so well today he had a sandwich comprised of ham and cheese stuffed between 2 slices of french toast. Tomorrow I'm packing him a nice salad with grilled meat no cheese and light dressing or he'll never survive the heat and humidity of our trip. From now until we leave it's going to be Meatless Mondays for him, he says he can eat meat on Friday because he's not Catholic, didn't say anything about mondays! LOl

I was a bad girl yesterday!:( Never made my soup had stir fry instead still burping peppers and had too many chips. I blame the bad weather and time change, today I'm doing much better did 10 miles with boosters and lots of energy, I also stayed much better hydrated. So far today I am making a breakfast smoothie with kale, bananna almond butter and almond milk. Lunch will be tofu with cabbage, onions, garlic, and some yellow squash. My food tip is make sure you eat some fat, no not ice cream or drippy burgers but good heart healthy fats like avacado olive oil or salmon you need fat to burn fat but don't over do it. Moderation is key. I hope everybody has a good day and keeps moving. We should all send some pixie dust @Mikester71's way after his recent health problems, and hope he is able to join us here soon!

Late start on the web today! Work has been very busy!
Woke at 3:30 and enjoyed 15 minute meditation and 54 rounds of Sun Salutations.
Breakfast was yummy...Coconut milk yogurt with hemp seed, strawberries, and black berries. I threw in some raw almonds for crunch.

Lunch will bring a mixed green salad, tomato, avacado, tofu, vegan mozzarella and chickpeas. I will drizzle a bit of balsamic and call it lunch!

Dinner I have some delish cabbage that my Dad made for me with quinoa.

Drinking lots of water with lemon lately, I can't seem to get enough of it. I have some dried figs and a giant sized tangelo for snacking.

We love almond butter!! I think I like it better than pbutter. But, unfortunately, we were out so he opted for the pbutter! LOL I also tried almond milk instead of soymilk and I really like it!
Did you have have almond butter with a Green Grannysmith Apple??? Holy Teledo! Very Yummy! My DH is a huge peanut butter buy. I make my own and he won't eat it! He will only eat skippy! :mad:

Yuk!!!!!!!!!:mad: Skippy doesn't that have HFCS and preservatives kind of kills the healthy thing! I finally have my ds eating the natural it has sugar but no preservatives, it's a start!:)

Yum I love almond butter with granny smith's! They are so good! We buy Smart Balance creamy pb for my DH. He says it tastes like natural.

Still have to walk inside today, which I am getting tired of. We are getting snow flurries and the wind is very cold. Throwing in some very light stretches @figmentfan423 so I don't reinjure the shoulder ;) Have a good day everyone!

I hate the indoor walking thing but what can you do about the weather:mad: Glad to hear you are moving just be careful!

Hello.

I am just getting over the stomach virus. This was nasty. The worst thing about it was the joint and muscle pain. I had muscle spasms and the headache from hell. This all set in after the "fun part" of the stomach virus. I am drinking lots of water and eating simple carbs (I usually don't, but this is all I can handle.)

Hopefully, by tomorrow I will be active again. I was reading your posts and I saw you were talking about food. That's good. I like to get ideas from others. I love almond butter with a granny smith.
