Wonders of life?

No, Horizons didn`t have a sinkhole.

Yes, Energy has a minor sinkhole.

Yes, CC is indeed still mostly intact. It looks a bit of a mess but on the most part the majority of the main show area in still in place. The AAs are drained and so look a little sorry for themselves.

Believe what you like. Some people know quite a bit. Some don`t. And I`m not one to lie.

And most people know quite a bit because of those movies of yours. :D

Can I nominate your Horizons tribute for best picture?:lookaroun

Oh, and by the way, for those of you who think i said that Horizons was BUILT on top of a Sinkhole, i never said that! I meant to add in that a sinkhole EMERGED in 1998 (notice that horizons closed in 1999)

So here i am! Wonders of Life geek ready for more research at your command! :drevil:

Keep researching because that still is not true.

Horizons closed in 1994

It was seasonal after that. And there never was a sinkhole under it. Not in 1983, 1994 or 1999 or any other time.

It`s been discussed many times here - Horizons closed since Eisner wouldn`t pay for an overhaul without a sponsor once GE left. Along came Compaq and offered to pay for a new pavilion in the same spot. Disney got rid of something they couldn`t afford, got a new pavilion, and didn`t pay for either. Judson Green laughed all the way to the bank. That in a nutshell is what happend to Horizons.

Now... Wonders of Life. It was this building that had roof leaking issues. Where the geodome meets the ancillary roof structures. Actually, Energy had a leaking roof too. And Seas. And Imagination.

*sigh*
Listen, junior.....looking up questionable information, then coming here to talk about it....that's backwards.
Here is where people come to find out facts, not the other way around.

Not surprising, and explains so much.

Now does anyone know if any pics exist of the show areas for CC and Body Wars now?
As I recall, there are some Cranium Command photos floating around, but I don't have them.
The Body Wars queue area is currently being used for NextGen demos and testing. Haven't seen any photos of that.

Your trolling (or 11-year-oldish-ness, whichever) would be much more successful if there weren't people on these boards who have been inside WoL since it closed.

Cranium Command Dismantled?

Seconded.

And thanks for the info on Cranium Command. Poor Buzzy, sitting in there looking emaciated... he probably thinks that the kid is in a coma or something.

I thought I had read in one of these forums that Disney was or had dismantled Cranium Command (the forum was the one where they report the permits filed by Disney to do construction/renovations).

It wouldn't surprise me if Cranium Command was scrapped. As much as I loved the show, I severely doubt they'll ever revive it anywhere, if it's even around. Poor Buzzy :(

Is the actual Body Wars ride still back there? I thought I heard they got rid of it, but maybe it was just signage I heard about. Reason I ask is because if it is back there still, do you think they would be doing any ST2 testing in the BW simulator?

well excuse me for getting this so bumpy. i've been in the wonders of life several times thank you very much. hours spent in there. dad gets his cup of coffee, mom reads her book. i just wonder around the pavillion.

my knowledge on epcot (without copying from wikipedia) i spent alot of time in wonders of life. i do not remember frontiers very well, i thought it was boring. cranium command was awesome as well as body wars (even tho a 4 year old died, fainted during the ride,) the making of me, goofy about health was okay. i was only 2 when anacomical players retired. wonders of life pavillion's sponsor (metlife) opened it in 1989 i think? left it in around 2000. seasonal operation in 2005. closed for good 2007. at least that's what i've researched. i love disney, disney fan! D23 member! (i'm 12 not 11) i remember going to the living seas, thought it was boring. but now i think it looks cool (on youtube) from those early days. i hate the nemo and pixar theme their adding to disney parks. :dazzle: i don't know much about the living seas. World of Motion was cool (also on youtube). test track seems better tho. all though i don't like that GM is pulling sponsor. all though they went bankrupt, i like the classics. the old el rio del tiempo was better. stupid disney putting in movies to their rides! :zipit: my bad. my friends call me crazy and annoying cuz i keep talking about disney and the theme parks. i go to disney world every year. i think my parents hate me cuz i'm a fanatic. i'm an actor that travels from SC, to NC, to new york, louisiana, georgia, washington DC, and i live in a 1950 gym that my dad used to play basked ball. i live in south carolina, we just moved and i barely have any friends (except at church). sometimes i thought about giving up on disney! people hate me. but then again i might want to do something like file91e does on youtube! :hammer:confusing! i make myself think, "do not care what people think of you" so i don't care if you think of me as a wondering not-highly-payed proffesional 12 year old boy actor who's a fan of disney that goes every year and a d23 member. got that? i just laugh! anyways.... more info of my knowledge: i have a 1900's disney world explorer, d23 member, spaceship earth had many sponsors, universe of energy changed to ellen's energy chrisis which changed to ellen's energy adventure, dinosaur at animal kingdom was changed from countdown to extinction to dinosaur, mission: space sucks (persented by HP i believe?), microsoft taking WOL and (probably not true) going to re-open it in 2012, skyway stations at magic kingdom abandoned when closed, tommorowland station demolished except bathrooms, old snow white adventure ride at magic kingdom had a little refurbishment one time forgot when...blah blah blah. so i don't care what you think even tho you kinda hurt my feelings (and by now you stop reading and think i'm annoying and don't care) about that comment above. so that's what i gotta say. ta-ta now!

The Body Wars sims are still somewhat intact, and yes, some ST2 work was done with them.
