Rumor Wonders of Life getting an attraction soon?

Actually CC has been pretty much intact all these years, but, recently someone, might even have been @marni1971, said that Buzzy was taken out of it for some unknown reason. However, that said, it has been confirmed, by actual photo's, that the simulators for Body Wars are gone, gone, long gone. and all that remains are the hallways leading to and from them and the deep holes where the sims once launched from. I suppose it doesn't do any harm to dream, but, why put yourself through the impending torture if it is all scraped for something new. Just accept that it is gone for good then the worst that can happen is that they bring it back and you can do your happy dance. It's just that I wouldn't go out and buy a new pair of dance pumps though.
It was a joke.

I bet it will be a meet and greet and some restrooms and a store or maybe a dessert party with views of GoG´s gigantic gravity building.
Something like what they did on imagination pavilion (upstairs)
Hope i am wrong,

Hey marni1971! I don’t post often but I’m a huge fan of your posts and really respect your knowledge of Disney World. I was wondering...how long was body wars and cranium command fully intact, electronics and all, before they dismantled the attractions?
Thank you :) I don’t remember specific dates... but the simulators were left long enough for the hydraulics to sieze and be useless. Cranium was certainly being cannibalised for parts around a decade ago.

Twasn't me. However I have said that CC has been systematically gutted over the years of anything reusable.

I'm really not sure why people have ever jumped to any conclusions that the pavilion as it was is coming back. That's just not happening, and never was as far as I can tell.

Still curious what they ultimately do with this space.

The whole "park will look very different" thing has me thinking people just don't realize the scope of changes yet (and not that you can say a whole lot, I know). But considering what we know about Epcot, currently, it doesn't seem like it would be a lot different, just more IP rides (which people either seem to embrace or hate, meanwhile I'm over here in the middle ...). So I take it there's some changes we've only scratched the surface of? I'm just curious what you'd consider different? You don't seem to think Land or Seas will be "drastic" re-dos? While you've been clear about a lot of things I'm still trying to figure out everything here.

I know you can't say much of course but I don't want to start reading too much into this. ;) lol

So Buzzy is now gone from CC? :(
Just one of his eyes, they used it to fix the hippo in Small World.

I think the biggest reason for all the back and forth about WoL is because both attractions were hidden from public view for so long. I don't know about the rest of you, but until videos started surfacing in the last few years of the Body Wars area, there wasn't any visual confirmation the simulators were gone. And until the video last summer, there were only a handful of pictures of Buzzy in CC. People believe what they want to believe; I'm guilty of still believing the Irons-era descent sets are still behind a bunch of curtains in SSE because it makes me feel better. I'm sure once the video surfaced of the CC set fully intact and electrical stuff still being back behind the stage, it's easily for nostalgia hounds to draw a line from A to B and reason that the show could come back with few changes. Realistically, no, but the way WoL decayed and was left abandoned let to a lot of inference. It wasn't like Horizons, that got demolished. This died a slow death.

Woah woah.... Wonders isn’t coming back. Don’t set your hopes too high. Don’t expect mega attractions either.

To quote myself from February:

“the pavilion is being looked at now to return to being a guest facility and not an event building / storeroom”

When mulling over the various possibilities of the quote from @marni1971 , I could not help but wonder if guest facility implies a character meet and greet space, guest relations location, restrooms, and quick service location. If Innoventions East and West are still slated to be razed, then would some of these offerings fold into the former Wonders pavilion?

That's what I've been sadly envisioning as well. Disney won't allow Future World to go without a major store, Starbucks or a dedicated M&G location. And, especially once GoTG gets added, they'll need a QS location on that side. This also makes sense from the standpoint of that job posting a while back. If this is what happens, it will be extremely disappointing, but hopefully they'll at least have some sort of thematic element to keep it all together, rather than feel like a shopping mall. Hopefully they'll at least put some sort of simulators/exhibits in Innoventions fashion.

If one of those M&G spaces are to be Judy and Nick, I won't be complaining. :3

Would all of it be themed to GotG to go along with the coaster?

Previously, there were discussions on this board that suggested the Wonders of Life Pavilion would be an extension of the Guardians of the Galaxy Pavilion. Somewhere within these forms, the idea of Knowhere was discussed. However, @marni1971 , I believe, said that the plans had changed and Guardians would be self-contained.

To paraphrase, If the innoventions demolition work commences, they need a place to stick a mouse gears size store, starbucks, and a quick service restaurant.
Those would just be replaced into a new structure near the "hub" of FW. I can see them setting up temporary locations, perhaps even in WoL building, but not permanent.... It's too skewed to one side of the park. They need those businesses in the center for max guest traffic.

And lets hope the Communicore buildings DON'T get demolished. Slap on some fresh off-white over the kaleidoscope, peel back the vinyl on the windows, cut back some bushes and BAMO! The interiors can be refitted, but the structures are classic.

The Blue Sky says otherwise...
(for one of the buildings at least, I'm pretty sure it showed the other one as a shop or something)

Wow that’s crazy. Was either attraction ever used for even a private event after the final general public opening on Jan 1 2007?

Not sure about your question, but, it has been used for a internal part of the Food and Wine and I believe the Flower Festival, but, not as a general public attraction, just a place to gather.
