I believe that Disney is trying to make the pavilion look and seem nice as to pick up a new sponser.

I can see where you're coming from, but I have to disagree. Why would Disney rip out WoL's restaraunt and shop if they wanted it to look nice? And unless they are fixing up the reast of the exercise stuff in there, it won't look to good next time they open it.

BTW, Do you think it would be possible to put Cranium Command in, I dunno, Innocentions if WoL closes for good? The show is a classic, and should be preserved.

Personally, I hope they are just re-furbing the WoL because Epocot needs it!
All the pavillions have a specific a importantance: Land, Sea, Transportation, Science, Space, Technology, (Imagination!) and all are being slowly transistioned as new technology and information arises. The Wonders of Life is important because it fits into all that.. with all the new discoveries in health, medicine, nutrition, it deserves to be there just as much and evolve along with everything else. If we can see the transportation and agriculture of tomorrow, we should be able to see the WoL of tomorrow.

The only time I was in WOL was the year it opened. Since they I have never wanted to go back because personally I thought it was boring. Body Wars was interesting but, been there done that. The concept for WOL is good but I don't think it was well executed.

I actually agree with you, but WoL could be really good if they tried. I didn't even really like Body Wars that much, but I think they need to work with the potential that the pavillion has because it would bring more to the "edutainment" of Epcot and would keep in line with what it has always been. I'd take a slightly more boring pavillion than a huge thrill ride.

Hopefully they will re-furb it... actually, hopefully they will get/spend the money to re-furb it.

As sarcastic as you are, it is unlikely that the company would spend money to make a ride look nice for its demolition. Look back at Horizons, it was left in its run down condition until there was nothing left of it.

I realize I'm in the minority here, but I still like Body Wars and I LOVE Cranium Command.

I do recognize reality, and like Gen. Grizz, I just hope Buzzy can be saved.

I love Cranium Command and Buzzy too. I hope they dont mess up another pavilion.

With all the health-related talks (obesity, cancer, steroids, etc.) going on, it would be foolish of WDW to close WoL.

And I would miss two of my favorite things in WoL: Body Wars (which should be advertised considerably more) and Cranium Command.

I went into WoL last February, and I loved the serenity, and variety of things to do (if only half of them weren't closed :( ). There really is something for everybody in WoL.

And yet, WoL deals with none of those issues. Keeping the health theme would be great, but I'd rather see the pavillion demolished and remade. The only thing worth keeping is Cranium Command. Body Wars is ancient, Fitness Fairgrounds is too 80s-Richard-Simmons-ish, the white is blinding, and making of me is nothing special. Besides CC, the only thing worth seeing was the Anacomical Players (which stopped playing a while ago).

There's actually a lot of these topics in the "Frontiers of Medicine" area. Not quite up to date, and not featured prominently, but there's a wealth of information over there.

I really love Cranium Command. Does anyone else get a slight chuckle out of seeing Drew Barrymore for the very brief instant she is there at such a young age?

I never noticed Drew Barrymore in CC. What scene does she have the cameo in?

IF they redo the pavillon and keep the "health" theme, do you think there is ANY chance of them REDOING Cranium Command?

I enjoy the show, (would not lament it's loss), but I think they could upate the video with current characters, make the show room a little more "whiz bang" & it would be fairly inexpensive, if they wanted to keep another attraction open.

Body Wars and any other simulator in the world can be demolished.

I still think they could do a reworking of their original dark ride concept of bneing shrunk down and going through the human body. Just skip the "heart" part, as it ws deemed too hard & expensive to do.
