Watching a few videos on youtube from the show this past month. The opening hit really lacks power without the spotlights. Hopefully this is some tlc and not a permanent reduction.

When I went like 4-5 days ago the flower firework that was super awesome was replaced with boring fireworks

They have to replace shells from time to time while they wait on shipments. At least I’m hoping that’s what this is. Knowing their track record, reductions like these make me nervous.

I talked with one of the fireworks cast members re: moat searchlights.

TLC and nothing more. He confirmed the moat lights are “still very much a part of the show”.

The lights themselves were very much missing as of this past weekend and have been missing for at least a month before that. Walk the castle ramps and you can clearly see where they belong.

I honestly don't see a difference I compared a video of the debut to a recent video that was live streamed in 1080p all that I see are different fireworks...

There are definitely videos on YouTube that prove that the lights have been missing the past month. But that’s good that they're back on as of late.

There’s two distinct sets of moving head lights. Rooftops and moat. Videos are often hard to see a distinction.

Seems like they were having a problem in those showings since the lights didn't turn off either when the show started.

Yes, they’re the roof spots. The video isn’t good enough quality to see if the moat spots were or weren’t working.

This image has both sets of lights in one. On the right you’ll see the large roof lights. At the bottom and slightly closer to the castle are the smaller moat lights.
