Is it wrong for me to love this more than I love HEA???
Hummmm.... You should because this is one amped up version of Fantasy in the Sky. While it does share the soundtrack, it has WAY more fireworks then the real Fantasy in the Sky. The finale of this Fantasy in the Sky is impressive. The actually Finally of the nightly show paled in comparison to Illuminations. So now you tube a video of the actually pre - Wishes Fantasy in the Sky, take the New Years Eve tag off and now judge it against HEA. IMO HEA wins hands down, but your mileage may vary.

Wrong? Au contraire! It shows good taste and an eye for elegance through simplicity. A fireworks show is more emotionally resonant than a multimedia nighttime spectacular.*

Like prefering Kaiseki - refinement through simple ingredients that balance taste, texture, appearance, and colors of food - over the 3000 calorie 'slab everything on there ' deep dish pizza.

* I'm already looking forward to half a dozen posters fiercely insisting again that Steve changes the title of this thread from 'Wishes to be replaced with new HEA nighttime spectacular' into 'replaced with fireworks show'. :p

So, will this be the year of upgraded 4th of July, Halloween, and Christmas shows? Maybe even the year of bringing in the two other back launch points for Happily Ever After as was rumored.

Regarding the additional HEA launch points... I wish. While it may have been the desire of the show director, I would guest Disney has decided again the logistics of doing so if they have not done so by now.

Steering the topic back to HEA, apparently, somebody was there to record testing. Obviously a rough draft, but slightly different projections, and pyro/skylight choreography from the first final product. (Don’t ask why they put the title as NYE fireworks)

The new normal, from tonight until mid-March. (last week, they tried 7:58, and moved “Once Upon a Time” to 7:15)
