I agree, although I did find this quote from the magazine to be interesting. I wonder hat will happen to everything from the show.

Yea, I don't know. That scan indicates the Tokyo version (which only recently came back) will end on March 18th. Obviously that would mean the LOR would probably be put back into storage again. This of couse could mean they could be transported and set up at WDW.

The problem with LOR at MK is size. The hub at Tokyo is huge and our hub, even when re-done, would not be able to accomodate the lighted archways. Perhaps some could be used, but not all. I think some would like nice along the rose garden pathways. The second problem though is that Cinderellabration at Tokyo was a night show and I believe MK has every intention to perform this show throughout the day, allowing the LOR only to be part of shows after sunset.

Another indication that LOR will not be part of MK's show is that when describing the Tokyo show, the title usually includes the Lights of Romance reference, as the scan from the Magazine shows as well, while our show is simply called "Cinderellabration".

Wishes is FAR to popular to not be shown any more. I have seen a few Cinderellabration clips, and the fireworks in that show are launched from the castle balconies, and they are very small.

Besides, even if they wanted to turn Cinderellabration into a fireworks show, it would turn out really bad. Since the show takes place on the Castle Forecourt stage, those guests getting a close view of the show will miss all the fireworks, since the launch location for fireworks is far outside the park.

And as far as I know, we will not be getting Lights Of Romance.

So on a side note, is Disney magazine worth getting? You can get 4 issues for $9.95 from amazon.com so I was thinking of trying it out.

It is a really nice magazine. If your a Disney freak (which you probably are if you are on these forums), I would get it.

Yeah our version is not even going to be at night, so I don't evfen expect the fireworks to be anything bigger then what CSC had.

Whew.

I was really worried. I couldn't believe they'd get rid of it here - especially so soon.

Thank goodness it was just bad reading comprehension.

We like it. But, make sure that if you order it that they actually send it to you. We renewed our subscription last fall and haven't received either the winter or spring issues. I can't call because I'm not the one who ordered it, my mom did. They accepted her check, because it cleared. But, we haven't received any magazines. I keep telling her to call, but she's a worse procrastinator than I am and keeps putting it off. Anyone else have anything like this happen? Or are we just "special"? :lookaroun

I also must say, though, that I'm very glad that this is just a rumor. I love Wishes and would be very sad to see it go so soon.

Glad I saw it in December! This is a horrible decision. Wishes were the best fireworks I've ever seen, why would they take them away from WDW.

*EDIT* I should probably read all of the thread before posting, lol.

Just to clear this up.

Wishes is not leaving WDW, and will continue to show in the MK at WDW.

Cinderellabration, a stage show from Tokyo, will be appearing at WDW MK.

Disneyland Paris is getting a new firework show, based on Wishes. It will not be an identical show however.

Better late....

Threads like this are good to come late to, to allow for the truth to settle out. From the title, I hoped/expected it to be an error, glad that it is. The Pollyanna in me (very small part!) wins for a change! :sohappy:

That's great. Wishes is an absolutely terrible show and I am thrilled to see it leave. Now only if they got rid of Stitch.

Sorry... its not leaving. Read some of the posts above. Ill have to respectfully dissent, but I do in fact agree with you about Stitch....
