I auditioned for the virtual choir. I don't think I made it; I had a lot of awesome competition and my recording quality wasn't great, but I'm proud I did it anyway. And I think everyone is going to be featured in a special online version of Glow:)

The show will have its premiere tonight at 7:30! MouseInfo is tweeting some facts before the show begins:

6 snowflake generators in viewing area produce giant snowflakes in 6 different shapes.

More than 700 high-power, color, LED strobe lights were installed on California Screamin'.

Ten new mirror balls were installed for World of Color Winter Dreams.

16 narrow beam moving lights were installed on the Fun Wheel for World of Color Winter Dreams

And here is the list of the songs/scenes in the show (photo by MouseInfo)

Pretty awesome!

Steven Davison and Josh Gad (voice of Olaf from Frozen) introduced the show.

I'm sure there'll be plenty of reviews coming in.
I definitely liked it, although as expected, it lacked the power of the standard WoC due to the general lack of all the classics (Bambi and Thumper in the ice skating scene was pretty awesome on the lagoon-wide projection scene!)
Other than that, as far as I could tell, classic movies had just a brief cameo in the form of ornaments moving across the loop on California Screamin'.

Nevertheless, it was a great show with a lot of high-power fountains continuously throughout the show.

OMG!! That show is AMAZING!! And those lights on Screamin!! WOW!! I hope those are not just for Winter Dreams! They should be used year round!

Totally agree -- I loved it! The new lights are awesome, even the new spotlights on Mickey's Fun Wheel add such nice extra 'sparkle' to the show. I really hope they integrate the new effects into the regular show.

The show looks phenomenal and I can't wait to see it live in the park :)

@Disneyfalcon and I saw the show tonight. It had more pauses that WoC, so it felt more like seeing a few vignettes. People clapped between the scenes.
They gave everyone invited to the premiere Glow with the Show ears. While I won't be wearing my hat in the future, it was fun to see the sea of ears change color together.

I loved the song from Frozen. The Toy Story characters performing the Nutcracker was cute and funny.
Overall, I am sure I will see the show many more times this holiday season.

Speaking of new lights, there were spotlights in the planters throughout the viewing area. They periodically illuminated, particularly joining together in a Christmas tree shape.
Overall, they worked really well due to the mist moving over the viewing area. They were distinct very far up in the air.
I don't know if it was the new viewing angle that I was at, but it seemed like there were a lot more tall fountains right at the front row of the viewing area. I was at the very rearward edge of the viewing area and felt mist several times during the show.

I'm also very glad that Steve Davison himself was able to introduce the show. He is always present at the premieres, but it always ends up being a talking head that introduces the show. It's refreshing to see the show's creator take the stage and welcome the fans (as opposed to the "suits" we usually see).

Very true-he deserves so much for the amazing spectaculars he has created!
He is an amazing creative artist, yet he always seems so humble when he speaks. That says a lot in my book!

Try not to watch videos if you're going to see it live - it's so incredibly breathtaking in person and a 100% better show than World of Color itself. Just phenomenal. Can't wait to see it a thousand more times!

Let It Go is the high point of the show - amazing use of the World of Color technology combined with the best new Disney song in ages. ACK IT'S SO GOOD

Inside the Magic claims this is a full HD video I haven't watched it yet though -

As soon as Octonants end's I'm going to put it on the TV to watch with the kids.
