Just finished watching it and it was AMAZING! The kids were into it too. Loved "Let it go" and the Toy Story segment was fun. The gospel style Joy to the World was great at the end too. Do they sell the sound track for this? I want to listen to it over and over!

MouseInfo has photos of the snowflake generators that are scattered throughout the viewing area. They are hidden in giant gift boxes. (photos below)

The effect didn't activate for the premiere showing, but they were testing it later in the evening.

The machine produces giant foam snowflakes that fly up, illuminated with a beam of light (also inside the gift box)

Apparently they scatter all over the park, with snowflakes landing in a bug's land, tower of terror, and some reaching the parking lot!

The gift boxes during the day:

Trying again for this stinkin' Twitter photo upload...

EDIT: Bah! Anyone who's a little more mobile savvy than me have a suggestion for uploading photos?

People talk about bringing WOC to WDW but I wonder if it would lose some of the magic/charm? I love they use the Fun Wheel and the coaster as part of the show. I don't think building a theater for it like Fantasmic would work well? Maybe they could but it in WS Lagoon but that's about the only in park spot for it. does it work 360 or it it vie from the front only?

I try not to watch videos like this, because I feel like they should be seen in person. But I won't be able to get out there this year. (My folks and little sister will be. I haven't spoken to them since I found out. ;))

But I did just watch that. And it was incredible. Soundtrack was amazing. The Toy Story stuff was great! I thought Olaf might annoy me, but he didn't. Was a good host.

Also really dug the choir at the beginning. Really cool.

Big fan of the original show, but this was great too.

Did it seem to anyone else that they were doing more with the fountains and such? It may just be my memory not being great as I've only seen the show once.

Incredibly jealous that I won't get to see this live.

No, you're absolutely correct-the fountains used a lot more of the tall water jets and not so much of the small water "tubes". And they were used for much longer duration and more frequently than in the regular show (the nerdy side of me kept thinking: "wow, I wonder if they had to add water pumping capacity to support so many of the tall jets for such a long period of time!" :bookworm: LOL!)

Just curious: did anyone know about the Passholder show on Thurs. beforehand? I had heard about the Limited Time Magic (with the "debut" on Fri./today) but didn't hear a peep about the media night.
Maybe that's how they spring those things to get crowd-fillers?! LOL!

It was posted on the Disneyland AP Facebook and Twitter accounts the day before.

Putting it an amphitheatre would neuter the experience (as it does for Fantasmic). The show is not configured at DCA for 360 viewing, it is completely focused on the northern side of the lagoon. Guests who try to watch from Midway Mania and the rest of the pier get a magical view of....the backside of water.

Something you can see on Jungle Cruise (in WDW at least, I don't recall if they have that joke at DL?)

I'd like WDW to have more original stuff. Granted, WofC is "pure Disney magic" as Sheldon put it, but I want WDW to be original. That, and I have no idea where I would put it, other than maybe at Animal Kingdom on the lagoon in front of Tree of Life (I know they are planning nighttime entertainment for AK).

But I would love it if they figured out a way to bring Virtual Honor Choir to WDW.

Oh... My... GOODNESS. WOWZA! That was amazing and gnarly!!!!! I am beyond impressed!

Wait until you see it in person raven! I ended up at the park tonight at the last minute, and I caught an evening Viva Navidad show in Paradise Gardens and then the 10:15 Winter Dreams from the bridge. YouTube doesn't do either of these two new shows justice.

Run, don't walk, to DCA this holiday season! They have done it again and hit it out of the ballpark.
