Wii...

How are you doing so far on that? I've got three out of eight platinums. The rest I've gotten gold on.
Officially, I've only gotten 1 platinum for round one and gold on the rest. I've gotten very close to platinum on several other rounds though.

It can be frustrating being perfect 2 rounds and then miss several targets on the final round.

I hope the wii makes some more budget-friendly, shoot'em-up titles like this in the future.

Bring on House of Dead.

Is anyone else bad at not finishing games? It's like DH and I get really excited about a game and play it for an hour or two every other day or so, then life gets in the way (:lol:) and we stop playing for a while, only to not ever come back to it. That's what happened with Zelda (when we had it on the Game Cube). Then Mario Galaxy. We loved that game, but had to take a break for a few weeks with the hectic holiday season. Then we got Lego Star Wars for Christmas and haven't went back to Mario yet.
Here's to hoping we finish one of this games this year!

Just got a Wii for xmas... all i have is the wii sports that comes with it and just last week I picked up the zapper that comes with links crossbow training. The Wii is really fun and a great change from my Xbox 360. I rented Trauma Center and have been enjoying that game....plan on buying Wii Fit when it's released. Keep hearing good things about Super Mario Galaxy...maybe I'll try that next.

Oh, yeah, that's the story around here. I got Ultimate Alliance, and play with my brother. But he's been so busy he's barely had the time. So I got Zelda, and was doing pretty good until the frickin' bug happened and I have to start over. And I borrowed Rayman from a friend, and was about halfway through when we started playing Marvel again. :p All that plus wife, kid, tons of DVD I've got backed up since Christmas, comics, books... :zipit: That's why I pretty much don't go above and beyond to get more games, even though I want them.

I should start having that mentality. Or at least, don't buy another game until the one before it is finished or I'm not interested in playing it anymore. Of course games like Wii Sports and such are good any time. But those ones that have a beginning and end... I should just say "no" for a while.

I have the same problem. I have 4 games that I am currently playing that I have yet to finish. I've had Kingdom Hearts 2 and Final Fantasy 12 for over a year and still haven't finished them yet. Sad...

I just ordered Mario Strikers Charged.

Anybody play it?
We've had the game since July of last year and my 6-year old still plays the game on a weekly basis. It's a soccer game that plays more like a hockey game because you constantly check people to the ground. Then you throw in elements like green turtle shells, chain chomps, and other mushroom kingdom paraphernalia and you've got one classic mario game.

THe coolest thing about "Strikers" is the online play. I generally enjoy
playing random people but you can also use "friend codes".

Just like Mario Kart and Smash Bros., buy this game for the multiplayer experience.
