Why the cut in fireworks?

Ok first Magic music and mayhem lost part of the show in the begining now is hollowishes loosing the Malificent part. Why are they cuting these??
Is the difference in money so big in such small parts of each show?? And what next? Holiday wishes? Fantasy in the sky new year?? Maybe they will cut the countdown part of the show

Attendance is down, bookings are down and Disney like everyone else is having to make cuts.

yeah but 1 minute of fireworks makes that difference??

When that one minute contains some of the most expensive shells used in the show and you combine it with reduced performances (ie Fantasmic) along with multiple other entertainment cuts, then yes, it does make a difference.

I've also heard rumblings of a pyro shortage, so the product itself may be harder/more expensive to get.

I think the estimate is $10,000-$15,000 for Magic Kingdom (excluding special performances

The one published price for a private firework show in association with Disney weddings is 6K

The cost in any case is significant

It's sad but I think it is a money thing. :brick: Every point that drops in the market, we loose a fire work! :lol: If we don't laugh about it...we'll cry!! :lol::lookaroun

It amazes me they do it every night in every park. It's just seems like sooooooooo much money!
