Why never a Bambi or Pinocchio ride?

Not a big deal, but you'd think that they'd have put that in originally along with the others in Fantasyland. I know they have the restaurant Pinocchio Village Haus which is right next to Small World but there is nothing in the form of an attraction.

Will they ever do this? Or is the early days of Disney movies well represented? If they do a ride like this, how would it be situated?

I still can't watch Bambi knowing what happens... and a dark ride might be too sad.

:'(

And I'm kinda sad Pinoc never got a ride like all the other Disney parks have. The film grew on me.

yep, Disneyland has a Pinocchio dark ride, and I believe DLP has one too.

one of my favorites in FL, though Alice still holds the top spot for me :)

I've got to agree on both accounts. I really enjoy the Pinocchio ride at DL, but Alice is certainly one of my top Fantasyland rides. I think both would be a great addition to WDW, but can't see where they could claw them in given the lack of space in FL.

How about a Bambi dark ride that doesn't really tell the story of Bambi but is more about the animals.

It could be more of a child's themed ride for AK - Bambi and Forest friends!?!

They're pushing the Disney Bunnies brand... this would be a good way to promote it!

There is plenty of space! if they were to do the right thing with the fl expansion, instead of giving us these glorified princess meet and greets and 1 ride, they could give us a boat load of new rides, put the alice ride, pinocchio ride, beauty and the beast ride, little mermaid ride and mr. toad's and we would have THE best fantasyland anywhere

I really can't see a Bambi ride at all. Not even the point of doing so.

But for Pinocchio, it definitely has more potential. It has more of a story that would certainly work well for a dark ride. Plus, I always thought there is room behind the Village Haus for one. Not sure if there is even room, or if the BatB area will eventually usurp that land.

I can see the blurb on the guidemap now: "Frontierland Shootin' Arcade: Experience the thrill of taking part in a Disney classic as you fire the shot that orphans Bambi!"

Come celebrate with bambi and allow your dreams to come true as you gun down defenseless animals! [it's the tiiiime of your life . . . ]

"Daddy, I can't... I can't do it... Bambi is lookin' at me..."
"Just pull the trigger!"
"I dont want to!!!"
"Ugh, you're ruining a Disney Classic. Do you want to go home? If you don't pull the trigger we're leaving and going home."
"No! I'll do it. ... I'm sorry bambi..."

...

I would be the CM for that attraction for -free-.

That's what I always thought for Camp Minnie-Mickey. Use the real animals kind of like the ending at the Seas with Nemo.

Wasn't there also a 2nd Bambi movie made? Maybe follow that story. Hopefully no death there!

I definitely just got some weird looks for bursting out laughing in the middle of my school computer lab.
