Well this really only applies to the Valley in certain times of the year, in particularly the summer.
94% of Yosemite is
DESIGNATED WILDERNESS, and it's a YUUGGEE park, clocking in at 748,000 acres. This means that the overwhelming majority of the park is free of roads, cars, and basically people. Just veer off a quarter mile from the main paths and you essentially have Yosemite all to yourself.
Naturally I prefer the California coastline because it's more than
DOUBLE THE SIZE (840 Miles) and has a lot more
VARIETY than Oregon. It has those remote, wild, isolated beaches in the
NORTH COAST such as the
LOST COAST:
Rocky beaches protected from development in the
CENTRAL COAST:
Last, but not least are the famous
SOUTH COAST beaches with their killer surfing, unique beach towns, and
SUNNY So Cal weather.
